Botany: tree to 7 m; broad, dome-shaped crown; leaves pinnate, long, 7-15 leaflets with a deeply serrated margin; not consistently fully bipinnate; flowers yellow, four petals, growing in large terminal panicles; fruit is a three-parted inflated bladderlike pod; green ripening orange to pink in autumn.
