We are in the postwar period, in the fifties in Bavaria.
Prover 3 likes that the others are younger than she.
Prover 1: It smells strong, like cabbage. It is easy to destroy.
Prover 2 and Prover 4 are feeling grumpy.
Prover 3: Everybody speaks in his own language.
Prover 2 has a thick lip.
Prover 4 has a thick toe.
The spot where we are triturating is very free and open.
Prover 1 thinks it is useless to triturate.
Suddenly a bird shits on the table. That fits. Everything is like shit, the trituration.
Provers 1, 2 and 4 think the plant smells badly.
Prover 3: I think it smells good.
Prover 2 is eating a piece oft he plant, it tastes bitter.
Shit brings luck.
Prover 2 wanted to seduce us, to call our attention tot he snakes in the bushes.
Prover 2 and 4 have something going on together.
Prover 4 wanted to get married.
Prover 1: ah, i have to write, shit.
Prover 4 is mad, very angry at Provers 2 and 3.

Prover 2 forgets about the time and Prover 1 says „watch out, you are doing this wrong.“.
Prover 3 to Prover 1: How are you talking to your father? If someone is pregnant she has to get married.
Prover 4: I’d like to decide for myself what I am doing.
Prover 2: Certainly not!
Prover 3: I always had to be in the kitchen for you.
Prover 1: Yes, this is your decision.
Prover 2 wants schnapps and wants 4 to get him some.
The clock is not running, 2 does not pay any attention to it and Prover 1 is criticising it.
Prover 2 wants more respect.
Prover 2 is a small asshole father and Provers 1 and 4 are „saufratzen“ (bad children).
Prover 2 wants Prover 4 to work at the butcher.
Prover 1 does not want to get married.

Prover 2 is working very hard every day and wastes all the money on alcohol. He is a fat, primitive redneck.
Provers 2 and 3 are smoking a cigarette, Prover 1 has to write and 4 is triturating.

Prover 4 to Prover 3: why are you always on his side?

Prover 2 was a bastard from a maid which got pregnant from the farmer she was working for. He was never acknowledged.
We are laughing all the time, it is gallows humor.
Prover 2 was 14 when war ended. He wanted to join the HJ but he had no chance there because of his club foot.
Prover 3: I am also the daughter of this farmer, but much older than 2. I always protected him, like a mother. I stayed with him because i need him and he needs me. He lost his mother very early, was abused by his father. I was abused by him too (the farmer who is the father of 2 and 3) and 4 is the child of the ‚grandfather‘ (old farmer). I am incredible ugly and stupid.
The only rescue is escape. Provers 1 and 4 have to run away but do not know how.
Prover 2 is a weak father.

Why is the plant ugly and beautiful at the same time?
There is love between 4 and her boyfriend and between 1 and her child.
Prover 2 is not the father of Prover 1.
The plant is seducing us, because of her beauty. 2 was seducing us with the plant. The plant is growing on a penis-like trunk. The plant only consists of flower and trunk. The juice coming out oft he plant is like sperma.
2 truly loves 1 and her child, but knows that this love is impossible to live. I he does not know that Prover 1 is not his daughter. So it is even more confusing for him that he feels such a love for Prover 1.
Prover 2 has not relationship to his wife (Prover 3).
Prover 2: I feel alone without love.
Prover 3: I feel so alone. The others went away. I need Prover 2 so much, without him my life would be senseless.

Prover 3 recommends to Prover 4 to finish school and to make a traineeship. Because then she will be independent.
Prover 4 is afraid of being independent, wants security.
Neglect, lack of love. Everybody is willing to do everything to get love. Sex is the way out.
Prover 4 is afraid that she won’t find another husband in a few years, then she will be left over. She wants to be secured.
Better to be a mother who tortures her child than no mother, otherwise someone would starve emotional, would not have any relationship.

4 feels she will be more worth when someone wants her, thereby comes appreciation and recognition. She feels she is an outcast with her feelings and emotions.
Prover 2 inherits money.
Prover 3 gives some candies to Provers 1 and 4, the atmosphere gets a little bit better.
Prover 2 opened four accounts at a bank, each for one oft he family, and when Prover 4 gets 21 she will get 20000 Dollar. „with money you get happy“; the next false conclusion.
Prover 1 thinks she maybe loves Prover 2 but feels a huge shame because o fit and thinks it is horrible.
We all still live with the grandfather and think about moving out all together and leave the tyrant; emigrate to America.
Prover 3 lauds Prover 4 for the first time. Provers 2 and 3 think about listening to their children and to leave the country. We have to go by ship.
The solution of all the problems is leaving, to flight? We first have to solve our family problems. We are at the beginning and there is still a long way in front of us. We are in Bavaria. We have to leave in order to free ourselves. For the first time we feel hope, we feel more like a group, like a family.
Prover 4: We have to break out.
Prover 3: For me it is hard to go. I am ugly, stupid, old and not loved. What will happen to me?
Prover 4: I do not want to go alone. I feel relieved that now everyone wants to leave.
It starts raining.
Prover 3: We have to leave now kids, let’s emigrate! I cannot let you go alone, all by yourself.
Prover 2: We go by ship to New Orleans and then further on to Costa Rica. We change society. I go tot he office and get us the passports.
Prover 3 and 4: That is a good idea.
Prover 4 loves a black American from the occupation and he wanted to take her with him and that is why she was not allowed to marry. But now she can be with him because the family is emigrating.
Prover Prover 2: But we have to be very careful so that the tyrant won’t notice.
Prover 4: We federalize and then we buy us new clothes.

We smell the fresh laundry. It is a recommencement.
Before we have been on the run especially through the recognition of our dependence. Now we can admit it and look for solutions. But we just have the possibility to flight. There are new perspectives.

Being on the ship.
Prover 1: I want to go to America and i know that this is our only solution but it is unsatisfying.
It is not sure if this emotion belongs to the proving.
Prover 2: How did we act?
Prover 1: We left.
Prover 2: This is very simple.
Prover 4: This will work, we emigrate. This is very stadium 1, very naive and stupid. Before we just were fighting and now all of a sudden we like each other and want to emigrate together. Only because Prover 2 felt alone when we are leaving him (in C1), realized that he is alone when we are not with him.
Prover 2: The feeling for 1 and her child has changed. Before i really wanted to have a relationship with 1 but now i am not so sure anymore. In the foreground is the responsibility for the child.
Prover 1: It is very naive to think that it is so easy.
The lip of Prover 2 is getting better, less swollen.
Talk about gypsies, they have their own rules and laws, errant people, no belonging. There is something naive in their culture, no place in society, musicians, incest.
Connection to Costa Rica, to this place, as a foreigner you are an outsider here.
The blossoms are separated and at the end they are connected, together. Alone but still together.
Prover 2 to Prover 1: I am not your father.
Prover 1: That doesn’t change anything.
Prover 2: I can let you, go, maybe you will find someone how loves you. It would be insanity if we are together.
Everything is allright, everything will be easy. Totally naivety. Otherwise we would not sustain it, survive it. Like we were laughing all the time in the beginning.
Without this naivety we would not bear all this. That is why we experience ourselves as stupid, simple and primitive.
In Phase 1 the DNA is rudimentary.
Now we can experience ourselves new, invent ourselves new. There are new conditions for the relationships.
In naivety everything goes faster.
Prover 2 is wearing a T-shirt with „Pi“ on it. Pi is the key to everything.
We are all one.

Discussion
Provers telling: smells like shit; one stem, no branches; one leaf on top.
Family scene. Cursed at each other; rude, gross; laughter; “Eine schrecklich nette Familie”: primitive, ugly. Family after WW2, countryside; incest, abuse, fucked up, but still laughed about it. Refused to go into the feeling. Black humor. Farmer was the bad man, who raped all women working on his farm. No emotion. Bird shit on the table. They felt to dumb to write, except Prover 1.
C2: Dependent on each other. Prover 2 missed them during the break. They started to have feelings. Uncle in America died, left bag of dollars. Prover 2 took responsibility. Seeing no chance to stay in this mess, they decided to go to New Orleans, to make music, starting all over.
Such a tragedy. Feeling dirty. Naive, impulsive, primitive.
