Limbs: enormously swollen, almost bursting, black, foot; calf of the leg and thigh turn black; hand swelling extending to the shoulder and spine, being of a bluish black colour as if dreadfully bruised, << snake bite.
Skin: bluish black, as if dreadfully bruised; very red, hot and dry, face dark red.
