Salix fragilis

Salix fragilis

A 55-year-old woman, a strong person both literally and figuratively, full of humor, she exudes an atmosphere of “let's get it done.” She is practical, somewhat stocky, with a full head of hair, a warm and confidential voice, and easy to talk to. She is tired and suffers from shortness of breath, which she believes is caused by her stomach: she has suffered from heartburn for decades, which is related to her cycle. The fatigue: as if there is cotton wool in her head, heavy eyes, and she constantly wants to sleep. She feels a tightness around her chest, especially at the back, sometimes coughing up phlegm that tastes like iron, and a feeling of tightness, unable to catch her breath. There are other issues: for the past year, she has had muscle pain every day when she gets up, she always has a cold, and she recently had biliary colic and polyps. This year, she got divorced; it was her choice, but the feeling wasn't there, and the pain is very traumatic; the marriage is lost. She had months of doubt, regret, and recrimination. The stress caused her to develop diabetes; she used to have high blood sugar levels more often. She suffers a lot from menopausal symptoms, with fibroids, a lot of pain, and blood loss. The GP remarked, “There's always something.” But what bothers her most is the shortness of breath; she has been tired of it for months, and it is one big stressful event. The plan is to remove the gallbladder, which should improve her breathing. Since she was 20, she has had esophageal spasms, which cause pain radiating from the sternum to the back. At that time, she exercised a lot, went to school, had her first love, and lived on her own in the big city, which was quite scary. She calls herself “gloom and doom” and wants to study medieval mysticism. That study was difficult; she had a fear of failure, felt uncomfortable, quit, and started working odd jobs. The darkness, the mysticism, continues to attract her. Later, she discovered religious studies, which is fascinating, but she eventually went into IT. She worked in the nightlife industry, which was terrible, but she didn't know anything else. She developed agoraphobia and didn't dare go to work. After that, she started working from home. Her hobbies are reading novels, writing blogs, and photography. She is very introverted and would always prefer to stay indoors, which she loves! Ten years ago, her parents died, her partner at the time left her, and so much has happened since then. She felt misunderstood, and five years ago, she was depressed. Life was worthless; she no longer cared about anything, and she was stuck. Normally, she is creative, gloomy, but realistic. She remembers nothing from her childhood up to the age of 10. She was often alone. Her parents were not there for her. She sometimes did crazy things to get attention. Her father said she should be sent to a mental institution. She is very spoiled with luxury. After she left home, she did some soul-searching and went to a psychologist with the question, “Who am I?”

Analysis:
Series 4: stomach, muscle pain, love, and work as themes. Not so much the Rosales, or the fatigue of the Fabales, but it's close. Working to earn money, not the philosophical aspect of Series 5.
Fabidae: complaints are mainly related to the stomach and esophagus.
Phase 3: When she moved out on her own, she did not feel strong; she needed support. Study too, trying for a while, it was hard, she did not persevere, but stopped. She had all kinds of ideas at an advanced stage, but she did not put them into practice.
Phase 1: not feeling at home, studies, work. Anxiety. Alone.
Consulted the back section, constriction dorsal, and the picture became clear with the mention of Salix fragilis.
Stage 12: repetition.
Prescription: Salix fragilis MK

Follow-up
The first week was very bad, both mentally and in terms of breathing and fatigue. From then on, things improved mentally, and the shortness of breath decreased, although she still had acid reflux after eating during the first few weeks. Lung function test after three weeks was negative. The feeling of not being able to breathe is less intense, less frequent, and she sometimes still coughs when taking deep breaths. Muscles are still poor, and a lot of muscle tension is worse when moving, resulting in poor sleep due to muscle tension. Fatigue: She feels much better, no longer dreads things, and is no longer so afraid of being alone. No longer has thoughts of ‘did I do the right thing’, no longer afraid of the divorce, and dark thoughts, such as ‘can I do this?’. Her energy was depleted, which was quite scary, as you count on having energy. The hormonal complaints return, cramps, breast engorgement, and the uterus is sensitive. After these three weeks, she recovers, but after a death in the family, the stress causes her to suffer from shortness of breath again. She continues to get heartburn from fatty foods, but she does not need to take medication for her stomach. She enjoys nature again, the view, and the animals outside. The tension that still exists is about the house, finalizing the divorce, and there are all kinds of rules, the finances, indicating sensitivity and theme of the Iron Series, Series 4. Half year later she was given Pteridium aquilinum.
