Ficus religiosa

Ficus religiosa

A young man of 21 years of age, with shoulder complaints, he has a gentle face and a sturdy and steadfast build. His eyes are bulging and look inquiring and expectant. During puberty, a problem arose with his father; both were extremely stubborn, and they could not speak to each other for weeks. He was able to brace himself without actually entering into conflict. Partly because of this, he left home early. After two years of adult education, he has now started a university degree. In recent years, he has started eating healthily, stopped drinking alcohol and eating sweets, and started exercising very consistently. He made an appointment because of shoulder pain. A year ago, it was his left shoulder, but for the past few weeks, it has been his right shoulder. The entire shoulder is sensitive, most of all the front, near the pectoralis major muscle. With certain movements, posture, and sometimes after sleeping, there is a burning sensation, which is not so bad, and a constant feeling of discomfort. He has the most trouble sleeping. When he cannot exercise, it is frustrating; it is a hobby, he enjoys doing it, and he is deeply involved in it. He does strength training with a goal in mind, and the progress is rewarding. Last year, the pain in his left shoulder was worse than it is now. When he lay down, it burned, and it woke him up. At the time, he didn't know how to exercise safely, and the doctor called it tendinitis. It subsides during the day. I can also get it when I'm sitting at the computer. His sleeping pattern: it's difficult to establish a good pattern, rythm. At school, he was diagnosed with ADD. Ritalin gave him stomach problems and made him feel anxious and restless. He used to have that too when he took caffeine pills. ‘It messes with your brain. ’ He is unstructured when it comes to planning. His studies are going well, but it takes effort, and he is easily distracted. He is satisfied, but there is always room for improvement; he always wants more. In the summer, he has hay fever. From birth until puberty, he had allergies and eczema from peanuts and nuts. In his youth, he suddenly developed grass allergies: sneezing, irritation of the nose and eyes, itching all over, and nosebleeds. The latter runs in the family; he gets nosebleeds quickly and spontaneously. He drinks a lot of water, at least 5 liters a day. He forces himself to live the way he wants to, he says, about his “mania” about his health for the past three years. He tries many new things in life. He reads a lot, it's interesting, he's poorly organized, you have to get a degree too, of course.

Analysis
Series 4: As a student with little money, he thought homeopathy was a good opportunity; otherwise, he would have to go to a physiotherapist, which costs a lot more money. Moreover, he finds it interesting; he wants to see how it works, something that is not scientifically possible. Practically speaking, his interest is focused more on ‘gaining experience’ than on the scientific aspect (which you would expect with the Silver Series).
Phase 6: His uncomfortable home situation resulted in two years of loafing around after dropping out of school, during which he saw the distance between himself and his friends grow. Hanging out, sleeping in, playing computer games, looking melancholic: he saw a world he didn't care about, but he did want to have fun (Phase 6 and Subphase 5 aspects).
Phase 5: mania, coffin pills, ADD, nosebleeds. Can’t have suppression. Sugar and alcohol, pleasure.
Iron Series: His step towards independence began with a leap into society, living on his own, having jobs, being independent from home (so not an Lanthanide story). But he encountered a society where he remained more of an observer (Phase 2 or 6) and began to slack off (Phase 6).
The intense exercise, giving up sugar and alcohol, had less to do with his body, bodybuilding, or developing his ego (which would refer to Series 2), but more to do with having a position in society, being able to hold his own and, above all, getting a relationship (Series 4).
Phase 6 and Phase 5: The unrest and ADD in his past caused him to receive a lot of criticism, contempt from his father, and a controlling mother and environment that tried to impose discipline.
The combination of complaints about his shoulder girdle, nose, and ENT fit with the Rosaceae, Rosales, and possibly also (extrapolating).
Stage 15: The rebelliousness in puberty, his expansive growth and training, the ‘after me the deluge’ attitude after failing at school, the excesses in terms of health.
Going through the ‘epistaxis’ section, the mention of Ficus rang a bell: much of the Series and Phase seemed to fit.
Ficus religiosa: loss of contact, problems with father, anger, hemorrhages, restlessness.
Prescription: Ficus religiosa C30

Follow-up
The complaint had been there for weeks. Auriculotherapy did nothing. After taking it, he was soon no longer bothered; he felt good, and was able to train fully again. Course:
