5.11 Praseodymium sulphuricum case

A woman of 50 years of age has had vaginitis, for about 5 years. Her vagina itches, burns, is irritated and discharges. The complaints are worse from coition and better after menses.
She also has headaches in her forehead and right temple, worse at the beginning of menses and worse from sleeping long, especially on Saturdays. It feels sharp with stitching as from needles. She has flashes of light before the headache, as if looking into a crystal lamp. She cannot read then.
She has been depressed 3 times. The first time was 20 years ago, after the birth of her second, youngest son. She had moved and missed her friends and neighbors. Her husband wanted a bigger, more beautiful house, but she was content with the simple one. She couldn't sleep in the new house due to too much traffic noise. The second time was 15 years ago, when she had too much work and problems. She had a job, young children and her husband was working too hard. The third time was 3 years ago, when her husband was working too hard and the children had left home. She felt tired, listless, sleepless and had no likings.
She fell in love with her husband at age 17, but she also had doubts. They have separate lives because she's always working and she wants to have a nice life with free time and time for the children. She feels dominated and regulated by her husband. He even wants to control how she dresses but she wants to decide for herself, so it leads to quarrels. She has the feeling that the marriage is at a dead end. After quarrels she often has doubts and thinks about leaving him. His long silences in particular make her furious. The marriage is too good to end though. She’s the emotional one and he's the stable one.
