5.6 Praseodymium oxydatum case
Width 6, Depth 4, Cure 6, Duration 6
A woman of about 55 years of age has arthritis. The arthritis is mostly in her fingers, but also her knees. It is worse in wet weather. She has psoriasis on her elbows, the top of her head, her right buttock and on places where she has had wounds.
She used to be a teacher. She stopped at the age of 40. She was bored with being a teacher, felt often very irritated by the children and couldn't go along with the head of the school. She let the school buy her out, so that she could put her attention onto her hobby of music. Stopping work led to conflicts with her parents, but they respected her choice. Her mother was worried about her income. She started living on social welfare. Lately this has given rise to more and more problems, because they want her to start another job. She has tried a few jobs working with sounds. But she clashed with the tyranny of the director of the institute. She has to “eat” her house as a compensation for the social welfare. That is very difficult because her house is her foundation.
She plays the piano and has started a foundation for developing projects with music and sounds. She composes a kind of minimalist music. They are like fragmented thoughts, little sounds. She has an aversion to Beethoven and Wagner. Her musical work is going up and down and she has many doubts, especially after criticism of the audience. She is a listener and likes to record all kinds of sounds. It feels good, but unfortunately doesn't produce an income.
Her parents were very intellectual. She couldn't talk with them about emotions. Her mother was tense and was startled easily. Her parents were very socially involved. She always feels tense with her parents.
She feels sad about the world. She has the sensation of falling into a well, in an emptiness, saying “If you live ideologically, then you walk with your nose against a wall and you will fall deep”.
She gives courses in self-defence and Tai-chi. She does Zen meditation.
She’s allergic to hierarchy. She is anti-authoritarian and can even be provocative.
She speaks slowly, with long pauses for reflection. She’s very philosophical and socially involved, but at a distance
As a child she was timid and anxious, with big anxious eyes. She was dreamy and absent-minded, intuitive and enjoying her piano playing. She could just do at school what she had to do.
Her vision is deteriorating.
She has tension in her shoulders, a restless headache and tics around her mouth.
She has salivation on talking.

Analysis
The aversion to authorities and tyranny is typical of the Lanthanides. She wants to go her own way (Lanthanides) but is too doubtful and hesitant to do that, as in her music. This indicates Stage 5.
She’s very much limited by lack of money and has to ask for money from society. The asking is typical of Oxygen and other elements of Stage 16. She asks for money for a living, which indicates Oxygen. Together this brings us to Praseodymium oxydatum.
