Botany: evergreen shrubs or small trees growing to ± 7 m tall; leaves opposite, small, leathery, ovate to lanceolate, ± 4 cm long, ± 1 cm broad; flowers small, greenish-white, in short clusters; fruit is a drupe, with a single seed.
