663.66.06 Persicaria hydropiper, Case
Woman, 50, feet problems.
The lateral side of her feet tingles, as if it has bubbles in it, fo 3 years. It’s worse from fast walking. It’s connected with a pressing feeling in her coccyx.
She has bad veins, giving muscle pains in her groin. They burn at every heartbeat, worse from emotions, company and keeping up her appearance, better when she is alone. She has had thrombosis of the big veins in her pelvis, after her pregnancies. With it her legs felt like big, thick, white sausages, strange, as if they were not her own, < warm weather.
She likes children very much and wanted to beget children. She had toxicosis and eclampsia in her first pregnancy, leading to Caesarian section. She feared the labour, knowing that she could not get the child out, due her narrow pelvis. She had the feeling that if she did not dare to have her child, she could not trust life. After labour she developed thrombosis. For months she felt deadly sick in hospital, very tired and emotionally bad.
Her first child, a daughter, was difficult, wept a lot as a baby, cried “the wall paper from the wall”. She started to understand parents maltreating their children. Her second child, a son, was complaining that all the attention went to her as she was always central in the family.
She has uterus cramps since menopause.
She gets blisters from Iodum. She gets itching hands from Primula.
She had pneumonia, both sides, with feeling of being left alone, fear something would happen, > company, < Causticum.
She is obese.
Her mother was warm but hysterical, could not handle life due to her experience. She was tyrannical, creating a oppressive atmosphere. She could not take friends home. As a child she was open, vulnerable, adapting and full of fantasy.
She works with mentally handicapped children, with pleasure. She likes to give them pleasure. In her former job she felt abused, criticised by the managers because one of the children was too happy and enthusiastic on seeing her.
She is a very warm person, wants to be nice to everyone. She is timid, fears being criticised. Attention is difficult for her with the feeling that she is not worth it.
Dream, repeating; a big bird with sweet eyes takes me out of bed with his big beak; he flies me to his nest on a big mountain and sits on me.
Weather: < warm weather, < grey.
Desire: sweets !.
Aversion: chicory.
Female: menses terrible uterus cramps.
Analysis
The over asking child is typical for the Oxalicums and families with a lot of oxalic acid in it, like the Polygonaceae. This is expressed in the feeling of an “umbilical cord” being too strong.
This family is also very strong for varicose veins and thrombosis. The sensation of bubbles is typical.
Follow up
After Polygonum hydropiper MK her legs are much better, even in the hot summer. She is less attached to her son and his puberty problems. She feels that the “umbilical cord” is weaker.
