6.11 Neodymium oxydatum case

A man of 70 years of age has hypertension, 180 over 100.
He can be irritated easily. He feels restless which is worse when he has to do things like administration. He feels the pressure of having to do everything perfectly. He does most things himself, even repairing his house. He wouldn’t like people to see that some things in his house aren't done perfectly. He wants to be an honorable man, having taken good care of his wife and children.
He is careful not to enter challenging situations. When no one else dares, he has to do it. He doesn't want to be seen as a coward but he also has an aversion to being the hero; he’s too modest for that. His wife says that he always has to go to his limits. When someone tells him that he doesn't dare to do something, like jumping into the water, he has to do it.
He’s angry at the government that they decide for and over him, that they can take something away from him without permission.
He’s pessimistic and dyslexic.
He went into military service to be able to study. His mother didn't have the money for schools because his father had died when he was 12. He worked for the navy in the Korean War. He was never afraid that something would happen, because he was fighting for a good cause.
As a child he was a rascal, often getting into fist-fights. After his father's death when he calmed down a bit. His teacher told him “He who conquers himself is stronger than the one who conquers a city”. His upbringing was Calvinistic, a bit conservative. In puberty he had to work hard. He had to be the best of the class and he was. His mother had to take care of her income and the children had to help with the household. It was the time of the Second World War, so he had to travel scores of kilometers to find some farms that had butter, cheese and potatoes.
He cannot stand injustice.

Analysis
His attitude is very much like Stage 6. He has to do things when challenged. He has to prove to himself and others that he can do things. He’s also quite fearless, fighting everyone at school, going through the German guards in the Second World War. But from which series? Chromium from the Iron series, or Molybdenum from the Silver series, Neodymium from the Lanthanides or Tungsten from the official Gold series. His attitude of being a rascal as a child made the choice go to Neodymium. He’s very independent, as a rascal is. And he’s angry with the government for doing things without listening to him. Typical is the saying of his teacher “He who conquers himself is stronger than the one who conquers a city”.

Follow up
After Neodymium oxydatum he feels much better. He’s more optimistic. His blood pressure goes from 160 over 95 to 140 over 85. And he stopped the antihypertensives, because he got weak calves from them. As a reaction he had red eyes for a few days.
Over the next 2 years he becomes more open to people, his horizons widen. He can also enjoy life more and sees that life can be pleasant. The hypertension diminishes for 60%. He could also lose weight easily.
Within two years his hypertension is almost normalized to 140 over 80. The quality of his life has been raised from 40 to 90. He feels healthy and exercises regularly. His eyes and ears are free of problems. Weight is still a bit a problem.
He has experienced the treatment as the peeling of an onion, where layer after layer was peeled of and he became newer and more beautiful. He feels he can grow further now.
After Tungsten MK he got a left sided headache with a red left eye. This he had more often for some time. His weight increased also. The rest of the hypertension disappeared after Ferrum phosphoricum.
Other remedies that had helped him before were:
Antimonium oxydatum: his inventions (Silver series) got lost (stage 15) and a bused (Oxygen)
Natrum carbonicum: lost (alone, Natrum) a son (Carbon)
Ferrum phosphoricum: He had to persevere (Stage 8) in high school (Iron series) for study (Phosphorus)
Without effect were: Tungsten, Inula, Ferrum muriaticum.
