6.3 Neodymium metallicum case

A boy of 10 years of age has epididymitis. He has pain in his right testis, worse in the morning. His brother and an uncle have the same problems.

He’s very sensitive to criticism. His older brother humiliates him with words like “Go to hell, dog”. He weeps from criticism and being obstructed. His brother accuses him of cheating when he loses in a game. He has to do what his older brother says. If he refuses it, they start quarreling, he goes to his mother and his brother calls him “weakling”. It makes him furious, he starts screaming and crying. A friend also teases him.

At school he’s not doing well, as his concentration is poor. But he’s bored at school, it’s dreary. He’s very sensitive and looks wise.
He has a fear of diseases, thinks he will die whenever he has lice on his head.
He likes adventure and new things. He prefers to go out and play at the home of his friends. He wants to become a circus artiste, doing trapeze work. He’s already following a circus course.
He’s stubborn, can’t let go of ideas. He wants to do things very well. He looks for a while before tackling the situation, but then does it.
He had the impression that others would see him as rather brash, not so decent anymore.
He washes his hands frequently.

Dreams: a crocodile climbs up a tree, thinking he’s a squirrel, the crocodile is flushed into the gutter, but changes into a squirrel to be able to climb out of the gutter.
Dream: a knight on a horse jumped through his window.
Dreams: snakes; lions; crocodiles.

Involuntary urination (enuresis), < laughing.
Teething problems, inflammation of the roots.
Pain in his left abdomen from running.
Frequent epistaxis.

Analysis
The epididymitis indicates Silver series or Gold series. The Gold series is preferable as it’s a male problem.
We have some indications for the Lanthanides. He’s bored at school, he’s very stubborn, sensitive and wise.
His state mostly indicates Stage 6. He’s too strong to be lower than Stage 5. But he lacks the confidence of Stage 10 and later. Typical of Stage 6 is first looking for a while and then handling things firmly, as he does. The desire for the trapeze reminds one of Molybdenum, also in Stage 6. Trapeze work has the daring quality of Stage 6, the most courageous Stage.

Follow up
After Neodymium MK he feels much better. His inflammation is gone; his fear of disease is gone. He didn't come back; I got the result from telephoning after 3 months. When he feels a little less good, he asks his mother for the Neodymium. He had never asked for a remedy before.
A year later he needs a repetition when the complaints come back a little. Another year later he has enuresis from laughing, which is also relieved by Neodymium. 3 years after the first Neodymium he’s still doing well, having no complaints. The quality of life has gone from 80 to 95.

He first came with the enuresis as the main problem. Prescribed remedies were: Cuprum, Cuprum oxydatum, Zincum oxydatum and Beryllium oxydatum. Then he developed the epididymitis and Terbium oxydatum and Molybdenum were given. His mother noticed that the Terbium oxydatum was just not the right remedy.
