Introduction
In the botanical classifications Hypnodendrales is an Order in the subclass Bryidae. They have an intermediate position between Bryales en Hypnales. In the later studies they are placed in the Superorder with Hypnales, Ptychomniales, Hookeriales en Hypnales.
In this book Hypnodendrales is placed in Bryidae in Phase 3.
