Background
Hamelia patens, or Fire Bush, is a showy, fast-growing, semi-woody evergreen shrub that can get up to 15 ft (4.6 m) tall under ideal conditions, but usually stays much smaller.
It has whorled leaves, usually with three but occasionally as many as seven at each node. The leaves are elliptic to oval, about 6 in (15 cm) long, and gray-pubescent underneath with reddish veins and petioles. They are reflexed upward from the midvein. Throughout the year, Fire Bush produces showy terminal clusters (cymes) of bright reddish-orange or scarlet tubular flowers, each about 0.75 in (1.9 cm), long. Even the flower stems are red. The clusters of fruit also are showy. Each fruit is a juicy berry with many small seeds, ripening from green to yellow to red and finally to black. A Fire Bush plant usually has flowers and fruit in various stages.
The plant is indigenous most all of South America, the West Indies, Mexico, and even southern Florida.
Indigenous people in Belize use the plant to prepare a natural remedy to treat all types of skin problems including, sores, rashes, wounds, burns, itching, cuts, skin fungus, and insect stings and bites.

C1
Prover 2: Pressure in occiput. I want to move my head back and forth.
Prover 3: I feel my heart.
Prover 2: My heart is hungry. There is an emptiness. I feel hungry, not like a palpitation. Something is lost. It extends to my eyes, especially on the R side.
Prover 1: I have the usual feeling I get in the back of the throat and a buzzing in cheekbones, both sides.
Prover 2: fluid in mouth, under tongue.
Prover 1: my mouth is wet.
Prover 3: my heart; I have pain in my back below scapula.
Prover 2: from my head down to lower abdomen, not pain but movement.
Prover 3: same sensation in heart and tension, pain in my back, at heat in my left eye. They work together. My R eye isnât working. Only my L eye wants to focus.
Prover 2: my left side and right side are different. Right side feels bigger and higher. Right eye feels bigger and stronger, like 2 different floors, not very harmonized.
Prover 1: I have a strange digestive effervescence; belching, airy.
Prover 3: Pain in back is spreading over the shoulder. My attention is focused on my Left shoulder, heart, scapula.
Prover 2: the same for me but on the Right side.
Prover 1: Youâre the perfect couple.

Prover 2: I have itching on my Right side below breast and on leg, and left side of head.
Prover 1: I feel pressure in my esophagus, a feeling of unease, apprehensiveness.

Prover 1: Iâm not having anything with eyes or vision. My stomach and throat are troubling me but not sure why.
Prover 2: I am itching everywhere.
Prover 3: I have neck pain. I noticed it earlier; crackling in neck when turning to Left.
Prover 1: There might be help for me in this remedy!.
Belching and air, like soda bubbles; very light, not heavy, airy inside.
Prover 3: Neck pain on Left side. Right side moves freely.
Now my left side is feeling obstructed. Now I feel weak, down, not sunshine-y. A bit lost, a bit sad or dark. Weak, especially on Right side.
Prover 1: Pain in forearm.
Prover 3: You are working hard, like a Fabanae, Iron series.
Prover 1: I like to lay a good foundation so the rest of you can relax!.
Prover 2: My voice has changed. Itâs a bit rougher, deeper. I feel down.
Iâm seeing these Pictures or ideas; if you are small you become afraid of something. I feel like Iâm getting smaller and weaker. Iâm feeling unsure, not so confident, like seeing beautiful girls in front of me, 18-25 years old, small and thin, in red tops, dark trousers, dark hair, dark skin, like Latinas. Anxious.
My left eyelid is twitching. In Chinese medicine, wind in body, small wind; itching, twitching.
They (the girls) are beautiful but they feel small inside.

Prover 2: In Chi Gong we call it â1000 meter eyesâ; you donât see whatâs right in front of you, as in farsightedness. Itâs like a state of meditation.
Prover 3: Itâs called âmountain sheep viewâ in German. Wave your hands in front of your eyes, like âwhere are you? â Meditative.
Prover 1: detachment.
Prover 3: I donât want to be disturbed. Iâm angry to be brought out of my state. Someone could say, âhey where are you? Youâre lost in space.â Itâs mountain goat view, not sheep.
Prover 1: I like lamb.
Prover 3: to eat, yes. This has to do with the eyes.

Prover 1: Ants in your pants. I have burning in esophagus and upper stomach, similar to heartburn but with apprehension. Not a sense of well-being, a foreboding. something isnât right. Itâs connected to the detachment, to be being disturbed, pulled out.
Prover 3: Trying to yawn, to liberate myself. I want to yawn totally but I get 75% of the way and 25% is missing.
Prover 1: I have a tightness in my chest, canât open up.

Prover 3: Now 80% opening. [yawns.] 90%.. now again the Left eyes focuses and not the mountain goat view. In German beautiful girls are also called ziegen, goat-like because they are capricious.
Prover 1: Ladies and gentlemenâŠon the mortar and pestle isâŠ.
Prover 2: It has to be exact.
Prover 3: Homeopathy is relatively exact.
Prover 1: Very sweaty palms, which I never get. Now Iâm yawning. If I yawn, I tear up.
Prover 3: We can stop the proving; we know the themes: beautiful but goat-like.
Prover 2: Beautiful and not confident. Weak.
Prover 1: severe tickling in back of throat.
Prover 2 stands up; They stand there with black hair over shoulders, small physique, not confident. Canât present herself. In Chinese: âshe canât sell herself for a good price, â Sheâs unaware of her value, shy, pure. They have not learned how to show themselves, perform for society.
Prover 1: Itâs all about women.

[Master Prover arrives.].
Master Prover: What will happen with those girls, if they are unsure?
Prover 2: My vision⊠They are natural, beautiful, not discovered yet. People will discover her beauty and value⊠like you find the gold. She feels weak. She needs people to discover her and give her confidence so she will be very successful and do great things. She is weak in this stage. She needs a good guide. She needs to be cultivated. Natural character and purity inside, under the beauty. Like girls from countryside going to big city. They are lost. If not discovered they wonât bloom; they will die, get kaput.
Prover 1: Like the living flower.
Prover 3: or they become ziechig.
Prover 1: No I donât see that. Itâs a parallel universe.
Prover 2: A picture comes to me and then I feel a weakness in my heart. âhungry in my heartâ You feel a deficiency in your heart; unconfident, It comes from weakness inside.
Prover 1: The sense of detachment; I want to be alone.

Prover 2: and 3; Not nourished; from inside. A gnawing. Disappointment.
Prover 3: We should have met earlier [in the day].
Prover 2: Where Iâm from; in Sichuan, China, there was a drought. People ate anything; even wolfsbane, aconite. They cooked it for a long time so they could eat it. They cooked every piece of leather and ate it.
Prover 3 holds up his leather watch and says: âhere is leatherâ. Everyone laughs.
Prover 2: Prover 3 never says heâs hungry; he doesnât know it when heâs hungry. He doesnât feel it.
Prover 3: We are the dream couple! Balance! Iâm west and she is east. We are like prover 1 and his wife, one eats and the other doesnât. Iâm feeling it in my stomach now, a bit like a pain.

Prover 2: My family name means thanks, and my own name means girl with a mouth,. You wonât grow up because you eat too much grass. My own name means woman with mouth. I cut out the âgrassâ part.
