14.2 Erbium metallicum case

A boy of 11 years of age comes in with headaches and earache. He has pressing pains in his forehead, worse in warm weather and in a warm classroom. Around the age of 4 he couldn't stand sunlight. His earache alternates between the left and right side. It goes together with fullness of the sinuses and nose. He has an allergy to pollen and grasses.
The complaints started after an unhappy period at school. He was in a class with an unpleasant atmosphere. Anything nice was spoiled and there were many fights. The teacher was nasty to the children but behaved nicely towards the parents. He felt very unhappy, that life wasn't happy any more.
As a child, he was no trouble to his parents. He was always quiet and playing alone. He’s in his own world, quite placid, not showing what's going on and feels better on his own. He hasn't got much initiative and needs to be stimulated. He's faint-hearted, lacking courage. He keeps his anger in. Yet he is confident.
He’s very sensitive to atmospheres and feels what others feel. He liked to go to his grandparents. His grandmother loved and hugged him very much, praising him to high heaven.
He’s full of thoughts. He doesn't fit into the school system. He starts discussing anything and everything, unless he is structured. He always tries to stretch the boundaries. He has an aversion to rules, authority, going to church, which he sees as sleep inducing. He had an aversion to praying before meals. He feels better with his father who treats him as an adult.
He’s very alert, wondering what you're doing.
Hobbies: football, have fun, study of nature and animals, the news.
Dream: a cat has been married to a spider and together they've produced red pussycats in the garden.
Dream: a monster came to get him upstairs.
Dream: he wants to take something, then he suddenly sees red flashes and falls unconscious.
Dream: he wants to get hold of something, is torn forward and falls from the staircase.
Pregnancy: his mother had severe symphysiolysis and had to crawl on the floor; she had a craving for cherries.
Labor: long duration, very painful, meconium, respiration problems.
Nosebleeds as a young child.
Constipation most of the time.
Eczema around mouth and nose.
Weather: <- heat.
Perspiration: << running.
Time: twilight, > dark.
Desire: pizza, chips, herring (3), pudding (3), chewing gum (3).
Aversion: chicory.
Sleep: needs a lot of sleep.
Analysis
There are many qualities of the Lanthanides. He’s very sensitive, feels what other feel. He always tries to stretch the boundaries. He has an aversion to rules, authority, going to church. He’s better being treated as an adult.
The teacher was nasty with the children but behaved nicely towards the parents. He saw it and this situation is often there with the Lanthanides. What's typical is that he gives in very easily. When he’s structured he stops. The mother even thinks that he needs structure. Probably it makes it worse as he is powerless to do anything about it. This is typical of Stage 14.
Combined this leads to Erbium metallicum.

Follow up
After Erbium metallicum MK he did very well. The earache, nosebleed and eczema disappeared fast. The headache and constipation were pretty much reduced. He changed school and felt better there. He’s happier in the family. His depressions are gone. He understood his mother better, had fewer arguments and wasn't fighting over cleaning his room. 2 years, later all his complaints were still gone. His mood was good, the anger that was stored inside, was gone.
