665.73.14 Duboisia myoporoides, Case
Man, 50, coryza.
He has recurrent coryza.
He has difficulty focusing his left eye; when he looks longer at an object the focus is lost, it is better by blinking his eyes and worse when he has a coryza. He sometimes has double vision.
His father was angry very easily. Almost everything could trigger his anger and then he would beat whatever he could. Everyone, all the children were very afraid of their father. He would become small, stiff, stopped breathing and was very alert. Trying to make himself small was so he would not be seen in the hope that the storm would pass. As a child he was very afraid of his father and lived in chronic anxiety. His first memory is of his father beating his mother and his mother screaming. His father also came from a family with a lot of violence and he was always beaten by his father. His father felt hurt to the deepest. There are still a lot of quarrels between the siblings and parents.
He still cannot stand the anger of other people. He will then start breathing very fast with the feeling that he should not be there, that he is beaten flat, with the feeling that he is worth nothing.
He has one son and he can sometimes be quite aggressive with him, but only verbally. It can create problems with his wife. He can be very angry, but then he does not want to exist anymore. His anger is triggered when he is not taken seriously, when he is ridiculed or when he is interrupted when he speaks.
