Introduction capsicum
Capsicum annuum is the Spanish pepper. Chilli is one of the nightshares of which others are: belladonna, stramonium, hyoscyamus, but also dulcamara, mandragora, tabacum, solanum lycopersicum (tomato), solanum nigrum, solanum tuberosum (potato), and even more unfamiliar means like duboisea, franciscea, physalis, pichi-pichi, solanum arrebenta, solanum carolinense, solanum mammosum and solanum oleraceum.

The best known symptom of capsicum is homesickness. But where does this homesickness come from? With capsicum it is a result of a feeling of insecurity and being unprotected. And at home he will be protected by his parents and family.
This unprotected threatened feeling is a general characteristic of the nightshade. But with capsicum, this threat comes from other people, not so much from wild animals, etc.. He thinks he has been accused and criticised. He has a feeling that he is doing everything wrong. Hence the enormous sensitivity to accusations and criticism. One of my patients told me that she didn't like going to work. In principle she liked the work very much, but she was always afraid of doing things wrong, that in her work as a physiotherapist she would have done something to her patients. When she went home from work, she often had the idea that the police would come after her and pick her up, because she would have made a big mistake.
They are suspicious of this fear of being accused. The senses in capsicum are very sharpened, as if they are constantly on the alert. They can therefore be very frightened and anxious.
And so the need for protection at home can also be understood. There the parents and others will fix it up for you, they will protect you. And hence the nostalgia for the past, when everything was so familiar and safe (dreams of previous events). They weren't accused then, and now you just have to wait and see.
In the first stage they are quite cheerful and even funny (witty). These children can go about their business with you in the consulting room, have a little chat and make an occasional funny remark. But when you start talking to their mother about their character, they become difficult, start interrupting the conversation and demand that nothing is said about them.
Striking in the image of capsicum is the contradiction itself to be bullied a lot, but not to be bullied. They can be very and very angry with others. Funny at first, but mean later. See: malicious, reproaches others, contemptuous and censorious.
At this stage the alternating situations can also be expected, anger, cheerfulness, crying, transverse and gloomy follow one another quickly.
At a later stage, they become homesick. They prefer to avoid the difficulties of life, then let the others do the work. They prefer to be lazy. See the sections 'work; aversion to mental' and 'work; impossible'. Especially if they have an aversion to all the work that falls outside the routine, then the chance of mistakes is much greater.
The aversion to work also stems from a moderate intellectual capacity: 'dull', 'confusion', 'forgetful', 'concentration difficult.
They can therefore be very annoyed by all sorts of trifles. They are then obstructive and cannot easily be satisfied. They become obstinate and demanding, the parents and others have to do what they want to do, namely protect them. See the sections: anger, quarrelsome, malicious, irritability and morose.
They are generally dissatisfied, as evidenced by lamentation, moaning, capricious and repulsive mood.
One stage later they become depressed and taciturn. Their guardians are lost to them, and now they have to fix it up themselves. They don't feel like it and they get an aversion to life and a lot of suicidal thoughts.
There can also be a delirium-like condition, as with the other nightmares, but less intense. This can occur as a result of alcohol abuse: delirium tremens. It is probably also a remedy for dementia, as shown by 'idiocy' and 'imbecility'.
C. Common characteristics
The type is generally blond, thick and limp like Calcium carbonicum. They are lazy clumsy, lack elegance.
It is a left-sided waist.
They are chilly, have an aversion to cold and draughts and are better with warmth. Even cold air and cold water exacerbate their symptoms. The cold feeling is sometimes between the shoulder blades. Also moisture is bad.
They sweat a lot.
The time of worsening is in the evening and at night. In my experience, the worst time is around 11 pm. < winter.
The preferences are: alcohol, beer, whiskey, coffee, pepper, stimulants, etc.
