Asclepias tuberosa
Remedy code: 3-665.27.06
A 47-year-old woman, she speaks softly and gently, and shows little movement, as someone who has difficulty moving. There is a cloud of melancholy, powerlessness, and determination around her. She has a range of complaints. Hypermobile with osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, and hypoglycemia. An allergy to dogs, pollen, house dust, and overly sensitive mucous membranes. She is always congested, her eyes are itchy, she is short of breath, and has to cough a lot, especially at night. At 12 years old, she already had hay fever. The complaints are getting worse over the years. She uses antihistamines and an inhaler, which she does not want to use. With exertion, she quickly becomes short of breath, which could also be due to being overweight. Sometimes when she wakes up, she can't breathe, as if she is choking, and quickly takes a puff. She urinates 4 times a night, making her always tired. She has had neck pain since childhood. Later she got back pain. She was already tired as a child, and kept going, which led to burnout. She could do less and less and had a lot of pain in her hands. Little strength in her hands, also cold hands. Lots of pain in the calves, lower back, and neck. At one and a half years old, she had meningitis. That would explain the headaches and neck pain. She has been sick a lot since then, catching all infections. The other complaints came as she got older and started working. "When I was tired: keep going, don't give in." 10 years ago, she completely collapsed, they thought it was a stroke or Meniere's, but nothing was found. She suddenly became very dizzy, vomiting, she couldn't walk, and was briefly unconscious. After that, she was never the same again. She became increasingly tired, had more pain, could work less, ate a lot, and became very heavy. She had a burnout, got pregnant, then stopped working. She also worked a lot, as paramedical, for 45 hours a week and at people's homes. And going out a lot, with friends. After collapsing, she was so tired that she couldn't even sleep for nights. As a child, she was often tired, lying on the couch, and seen as a "lazy child," from puberty I thought "I don't want that" and started doing a lot. Neck and head: vertebrae block in the neck, and back. It feels heavy and tight. The pain makes her tired again quickly. Elevated blood pressure and she has a slightly thickened heart muscle, medication helps. She needs to lose weight, diet doesn't help. She is hungry all day and can eat all day. The intestines: always a bloated feeling in the evening, gassy, days of diarrhea, and then constipation. She can have severe pain, like contractions, and then only air comes out. A lactose diet helps. These bowel complaints have been around for a long time and started during pregnancy 12 years ago. Hypoglycemia, she then gets light-headed, sweating, shaky. That was before she stopped working, and started after her training. She wants to interact with people. When that was no longer possible, she fell into a dip. That made her very sad and angry. At the moment, she has no hobbies. For months, she has only had to sleep during the day. Used to craft, crochet, and such. She does go for walks with the dog. Hypermobile: standing for long periods, then back pain, ankles, knees, walking is fine. She was raised by her mother alone, her father left and they never heard from him again. That was also a farewell (as stopping her work), but she doesn't remember it. She had to be strong and wanted to help her mother. Didn't want to be difficult, be kind, not ask for attention. Her brothers were very dominant, she adapted to prevent outbursts of anger. Her mother went through the same; her mother also divorced, and she doesn't know who her father is either. She often noticed her mother crying at night and drinking a lot of alcohol. Later, she was overworked, crying, shouting, then hitting. Later, she suffered a lot from it, always thinking of others, and taking care of others. It was difficult when she left her mother, it was hard for her, or annoying when she stayed for her boyfriend at the time she wanted to live together. She makes contact very easily, it comes naturally, but feels ‘don't get too close.’ Talking to everyone. She often has nerve spots on her neck and décolleté. Little feeling now in her fingertips, her fine motor skills were not good, and she dropped things. With cold, the hands hurt. She often has infections in the nose, staphylococcus infections, with a pricking, stabbing feeling, a bump, there can be eczema, and sometimes a swollen nose. Menstruation: she takes the pill continuously, but it is too heavy. During the break week, she had severe migraines and abdominal pain. As a child too. Always had trouble sleeping, waking up a few times. Dreams are always strange, gruesome, or about everyday things. This week she dreamed of a burglary, she was waiting for them with a club, and was startled by a shouting voice: hey! Another dream: she had to go somewhere, but couldn't get in, others could and she panicked. Blood pressure is often too high. With blood pressure medication, she no longer has migraines. The attacks back then were always on the left, pounding, with nausea, and light hurt, she had to lie down. She was addicted to painkillers, weaning off through a course. She was always afraid of the pain, and relaxation exercises helped.
Analysis
What stands out, and what is prominently present in the story or symptoms?
Gold series: allergies, auto-immune components, Lanthanide aspects: standing alone, aware of the shadow,
complaint pattern.
Silver series: this is reflected in the admiration of beauty, the way of speaking: weighing by turning inward with attention, and comparing there. This already points to 6 65.
Phase 7: The story of the parents, for two generations is striking: absent, not knowing, alcohol, addiction, also refers to Phase 7.
Phase 2 fits the inability, and dependence ('overwhelmed, powerless').
The woman came two days earlier with her child, then the fixed care was noticeable, almost 'clingy' attention to the daughter, while her body radiated uncertainty and powerlessness. Furthermore, she talks easily about things not related to the complaint and understands between the lines what I want to hear a Silver series aspect. Of the Asclepiadaceae, tuberosa is known, in Stadium 6. Calotropis and Condurango do not fit in terms of the complaint pattern or stadium. Her actions towards her mother fit in Stadium 6, be strong, daring but doing it, 'fearless,' having to be strong. Pushing aside fatigue. Lung complaints, inhalers, intense mother- child bond: Asclepias tuberosa.
Prescription: Asclepias tuberosa MK.
Follow-up, after a month
Very soon after taking it, the staph infection returned in the nose, outside and inside, and it lasted a week. Previously there was eczema, but now not. After a few days, had very light bleeding, through the pill, for two weeks constantly. She hasn't been short of breath these weeks and often forgets the histamine medication. Did have the allergy, but was not short of breath this time, and no longer used the inhalers. Last week's lung check: lung function is better than last year, she is now at 100%. Intestines are unchanged. Sleep is a bit better, she falls asleep quickly after urinating, and can now even sleep four hours straight, she never did that. Previously she was wide awake each time and had to get up. Dreams a lot. The back and neck: in the beginning, this was slightly better, she had a lot of energy for 2-3 weeks and did overdue chores. Now nerve spots on the left of the neck. The first weeks she lost a few kilos. As a child, she was already chubby, the overweight comes from her father's side. She always felt like an outsider, the whole family was very different, and thin (within her 'culture,' Silver series, she was different and did not belong, Phase 7, insecure because of that, Phase 2). Repeat Asclepias tuberosa MK. The energy continues to increase, still usually one bad day a week, after the grocery shopping day where she strolls and carries a lot, otherwise without complaints except a feeling as if the upper leg is pinched from the groin, which recovers after half an hour of lying down. In the evening often has restless tights when she sits, this lasts until she goes to bed, where the cold sheets make the restlessness disappear. Her sleep remains better, she still has two urination breaks but falls asleep immediately afterward. Occasionally still wakes up at 4 am, previously this always happened, and than she would get up to drink something and stay up worrying a lot. But now, "I don't worry anymore." Energy: she can do everything, of course she always want to do more. Back and neck unchanged, fingertips unchanged. Intestines good. She has had very light bleeding this month.
After six months: No pain, no bowel complaints, almost no allergy, shortness of breath gone, energy keeps increasing. Recovery after exertion is better, back painful after standing for a long time. She thinks it is only the hypermobility now.
