666.61.12 Sambucus nigra, Case
Woman, 30, tongue cancer.
The cancer was discovered 3 years ago when she had cracks and hard white crusts on her tongue. She has been treated with operations, radiation and chemotherapy. She has pains in her bones and cheeks worse from eating. She has cramp in her tongue which becomes blue from cold and excitement. Talking and eating is still very difficult.
She has fungal infections in her vagina and her mouth. She frequently has coryza, a kind of influenza, with diarrhoea, fever, shivering, runny nose and mouth inflammation.
The problems started after a difficult relationship. He gave her the feeling that he did not love her, did not respect her. He became aggressive after alcohol and once beat her back and blue. She stayed with him because she was very much in love. She thought they would stay together forever. She became benumbed in his presence. After it ended she was very much hurt; she did not see any perspective and was thinking about suicide. She could not bear it, it took all of her strength. She had attacks of complete hysteria. It felt as if her skin was torn from her body.
She is very emotional and when she is in love, she is completely in love and wants to kiss the other constantly, which is very demanding for a partner. She fears that she will not find a partner anymore due to her disease. The disease gives her sadness, weeping and anger. She cannot forget her disease. She wants to have a partner, to share her life, to have support, to belong to someone, to be there for the other in the total trust. Sexuality is also very important. She hates to be alone. She wants to be the dream wife for the other.
She had a very good contact with her father, told him everything about things at school. Her mother was jealous of her relationship with the father, but also very loving.
Desire: sweets, chocolate.
Aversion: cauliflower.
Food: < tomatoes, which give burning in her mouth.
Her menses are very irregular. She had a period of 2 years without menses.
Dreams: a cellar with glass pots with humans in it; it gives her the feeling she will be put in the cellar too and will be split from the rest of life.

The main theme is that of the intense love relationship. The intensity can be seen in her hysterical attacks, in being the dream wife. This is typical for Dipsacales.
Lanthanides: dream being imprisoned in a pot.
Dipsacales: very demanding for a partner; dream wife.
Phase 6: emotional; completely in love; partner; left alone; unloved.
Stage 12: cancer; fighting state with the partner.
Together this leads to Sambucus nigra.
