666.47.12 Artemisia dracunculus, Case
Woman, 25, nervous.
She is very nervous, tense, restless, picking her face, drinking a lot of water. Everything irritates her, she criticises her friends. She talks without reservation, tells everything, does not have secrets. She has an aversion to people who present things incorrectly, the nice way. She easily feels put aside, left alone, that she has to do everything on her own.
At a young age her parents divorced because they were always quarrelling. She had a lot of quarrels with her mother and brother, kicking each others’ legs under the table. She did not feel at home anywhere as there were fights everywhere. She was often away, outside with friends. She ran away from home and went to her father. Her father did not want her so she went to a girlfriend escaping the parents. That friend persuaded her to take a part of drugs when going abroad. She naïvely did it, they were caught and she was imprisoned for a while. In prison she lived on water, fruit and sugar because the food was disgusting. The worst and most difficult of the whole thing was to tell it her mother, as she did always her best for the children.
Her father was always a big problem, always disappointed her and her brother, beating him often. He started a new family with new children who got everything. She and her brother did not get anything.
Father died of stomach cancer. At his death bed it was as if she saw an uncle.
She has a fear of being mistreated. She had a boyfriend who beat her also, used drugs and once raped her. Another boyfriend almost strangled her but she was blindly in love.
She has problems with her jobs; was fired but won the legal case. When she comes she is too tired to work.
At 19 she had anorexia, her weight came down to 47 kilos.
She has been operated for outstanding ears.
She had abortions twice.
Dreams: nightmares, very aggressive, violent; teeth being beaten out of mouth; being raped by a group of boys.
Desire: healthy food, sweets, cabbage.
Aversion: eating alone.
Analysis
There is a lot of violence, beating, being maltreated. The dreams express it even more, like being raped by a group of boys. This reminds one of Solanaceae or Asteraceae.
Especially the Artmesieae subfamily is indicated, as there is a lot of maltreatment, threat and imprisonment.
She is criticising everyone, sees everyone as an enemy. This is typical for Artemisia dracunculus, Stage 12.
The outcast theme of Bromium is strong in this case: expelled from society, in prison.
Her mother did also very well on Artemidia dracunculus.
Follow up
One month after Artemisia dracunculus she is more herself, less negative. She is much less irritated, less sad, although still once in a while. The nightmares are gone. In the beginning she had aggressive dreams of being beaten.
After 4 months and 4 repetitions her tensions are much less. Her thinking is clearer. She dreams about normal things instead of violence or sexual abuse. She has better contact with her mother, really good now. She is still angry with her father because of the inheritance. She has more friends and better contact with them.
For a while some eczema came up on the inner side of her elbow, dry and red.
