Remedy code: 3-665.55.14

A 12-year-old girl with back pain. She has had abdominal pain and constipation since birth, which disappeared after Dirca palustris. The only thing that remains is the pain in her lower back, which she suffers from more and more often and which has gotten worse. The pain is worse after a lot of exercise, after gym class, or after cycling. She then has to stretch a lot, hang over her mother's knee, and ask, “Can you massage it a little?” It is not every day; it depends on how she feels. When she is moody, she has more trouble. She has a heavy school bag. Her concentration is poor, she does not feel like studying, and she is easily distracted. She is very afraid of failing, she wants so badly to do well at her new (secondary) school, but it has to go well. She often has headaches, at the vertex, and she regularly has sore legs. In recent months, she has been suffering from back pain more and more often, with shopping, and sitting down helps. She can guess her friend's thoughts. Her mood is grumpy, moody, sad, ‘everyone is angry with me’. She has moments of acting very badly, and very hyperactive. School: the penny has dropped, it's serious, you have to learn a lot, which is not fun and not very enjoyable. There are arguments in class, groups are forming, and she fits in everywhere and wants to get along with everyone. After gym class, she sometimes feels dizzy or starts shaking. She always needed six months to get used to anything new at school. Now she is in secondary school. Many things are fun, and friends, but it all has to be processed. She has started cracking her vertebrae a lot, when she turns, crack-crack, then it goes away for a while. After walking in the city and after sleeping, it is worse. She braces herself for a moment, then turns to crack her vertebrae. This improves with heat patches. Fatigue is getting worse, sometimes it makes her cry. She is very insecure when her friends don't play with her, and then she is a little angry at home. It all started when she suddenly had a growth spurt.
At school: ‘I'm tired of them walking all over me, now I tell the children 'don't do that’.
Caesalpina bonplandii and Petasitis do nothing.

Analysis
Lamiales: Friends, outbursts, cheerful, lively, the theme of ‘wanting to belong to the group of friends’.
Lanthanides: a period of becoming independent, making your own choices, and taking responsibility.
Silver series: ambition (at school).
Silver series: sensing people.

Stage 14: listless, not having the strength (to do what you enjoy).
Prescription: Vitex agnus-castus C200

Follow-up
The following month, she had far fewer complaints; she felt better after just a few days. After getting out of bed, she still has to crack her back because it hurts, but after that it's fine. It feels like you've been bending over for too long. The cracking is now more cervical. During the holidays, she wants to do everything right away, but her mother wants her to rest. Her hobby is street dance. The back pain started last year, just after eighth grade. She has trouble letting go, shouting that it's so much fun and exciting. Situations you can't change is the theme of stage 14. After two months, she feels good. The cracking still happens when I'm tired in the evening, now mainly in the toes, but also in the back. She doesn't feel it anymore, it doesn't bother her. Her school performance suddenly improved in recent weeks. She was going to have to repeat the year, but now she ‘gets it’. When she feels insecure, she hangs her head (giving up, Stage 14). She still feels the complaints of others, her friends, or her mother. Sometimes you see a beautiful young woman, a self-confident beauty, then she is a child again, playful.
