Case 5.12: a woman with abdominal pain and diarrhoea

A 25-year-old woman comes with diarrhoea. The other day she had thin, cesspool-like stinking light stools. She has cramping abdominal pain in the lower left corner of the abdomen, < long sitting still, < in the evening, < porridge, brie and wine, > massage > when she knows it's not something serious. It started after it went out with her boyfriend. He had all kinds of psychological problems and she had thrown herself into them. However, he broke off all contact when she did not want to live with him in Spain. After it was over, she cried at the least for 4 weeks. She decided not to open up anymore.
She has low back pain, sacred, << or >> by hanging forward, < when she sits down after having stood or walked for a while. These complaints have been around for a few years now.
Mankind is very painful, cramping, stabbing, > by lying on her belly or holding one hand on her belly, > heat. It wakes her up around 3 o'clock. Mankind are on time, but in the past they were often very late, so after 2-3 months.
She's very tired in the morning. Then the joints of her fingers are also stiff.
As a child she was homesick, very scared and always crawled behind her mother when visiting. During school math, she panicked with numbers. She was often afraid that she couldn't do anything, "I'm stupid and can't do anything". She was very insecure and shy. At the age of 18 she went to the USA as an au pair to prove to herself that she could do it, that she could only do it when she was on her own.
She has always had good contact with her mother. Her father wasn't really there for her, never talked to her. He had seizures of alcoholism, but only recently she talked to him about that for the first time.
At the age of 19 she came back from the USA. She didn't know what she wanted and that was a big problem. Actually, her trip to the USA was already a flight from her own problems with making choices. She did a tourist education and was surprised that she was hired.
She can be very afraid of illness, cervical cancer, AIDS. Vertigo.
Previous history: A few years ago she had pain on the left side of the abdomen, probably from the ovary.
Perfumes gave her red spots on her skin for a while. She has also had red, round, dry eczema spots under her left ear, in her left eyebrow and on the hairline. She had abdominal pain when she was homesick.
Generals
Weather: chilly, cold feet; gloomy in grey, humid weather, terrified of thunder.
Sweating: little.
Time: < 15 hours. < At full moon, then her belly is swollen.
Preference; sweet, spicy, licorice.
Aversion: ginger.
Food: < meat.
Dreams: Pregnant of little black dogs that had to come out of her mouth, two came out and they pooped everywhere, I had to clean that up.
Chased by a man, her father intervened and comforted her.
Bleeding head.
Black and white horses and dogs.
Analysis
The abdominal pain and diarrhea were her main complaint. The slight stools indicate liver problems. If we list some symptoms:

We'll get it: Chion., Pulx., Benz-ac., Merc-d., Lept., Anthr., Elat., Iber., Oci-c., Podo. I especially noticed leptandra. Not because of the keynote of "black and tarry stools", but because of her dreams. There we see black dogs coming out of her mouth. And Leptandra has "black stripe on middle of tongue" which is an expression of the fear to speak evil, to slander. And the dogs also spread dirt in the form of poop that she has to clean up. A kind of symbolic slander.
Then suddenly a lot fits: liver problems, < flesh, > lying on the belly, > moving, bleeding (in her dreams).
We also see a lot of symptoms in other Scrophulariaceae: fear of thunder, homesickness, fear of strangers, timid, not saying anything, not talking from and with her father.
Probably there is also the theme of slander about the family, about her father's alcoholism.
It is striking that when you do an analysis with a lot of Mind-symptoms, you are getting further and further away from Leptandra. This is often the case with little-known drugs, because there is often no known Mind-image with symptoms.

Gives 14 means, with Leptandra clearly in front.
Reaction
She came back after a month. The first week after Leptandra MK she was tired and had thin stools. The second week she was nauseous in the morning and had vomited 3 times acidic. She had had the intestinal pain once or twice the first 2 weeks, after that not anymore. She feels much better, more energetic in the morning. Psychologically she feels better. She has dreamed that she showed her father the way. She hadn't had her period yet. She gets a repeat of Leptandra MK.
After a year she comes back. She has no more abdominal pain and hardly any menstrual pain. She gets Leptandra MK, if necessary to use.
A year later she comes back with low back pain for humans. She is worried about exams. She gets Leptandra MK again.
