666.44.14 Silphium laciniatum, Case
Woman, 40, cystitis.
She has recurrent cystitis with fever, cold shivering, chattering teeth, abdominal pain better bending double and hot applications and thirst for hot tea. It started after her marriage and comes back each time after intercourse. She hates taking antibiotics because they lower one’s immune system.
She has frequent frontal sinusitis.
She is happily married but has little libido. She makes love to her husband from time to time but does not tell him that she switches off then because that would feel for him as rejection, hurting.
She was an unwanted child, excluded by her parents, often punished and beaten. She felt alone in the world, realising that the only one who can make the difference is oneself.
She has 3 children although she was diagnosed as infertile. The labours were horrible due to the immense pain. She withdrew into her core to work from there in order to do it well. She was saying nothing, totally silent and remembers nothing from the hospital. Her eldest daughter first went into drugs. It feels nasty that her family got split, it feels as an implosion, a grenade explosion, as a kind of nothing. But she realises that a child has his own life.
