Botany: habitat moist sites on the forest floor; ± 20 cm high; leaves hairless, egg-shaped to lanceolate, ± 30 mm long, ± 1 cm wide, wavy edges; flowers attractive, in spring, petals six, pink, with purple anthers, flowers; fruit wrinkled, ovoid capsule; seeds few, yellow or brown.
