Leaves: numerous rather lax rosettes of basal leaves.
Stem: long, creeping, barren shoots.
Inflorescence: flowering scapes; 15 to 30 cm high.
Flowers: white, yellow centre; nodding in bud; secondary pedicels long; calyx lobes acute; petals cream coloured, narrowly ovate, usually non-contiguous; filament tapering gradually; anther apiculate; 10 to 12 mm diameter; flowering from late May to early July.
