English: Snake plant; mother-in-law’s tongue.
Dutch: krokodilletong, = crocodile’s tongue.
Botany: survives without care, does not know how to die.
Content: haemolytic saponins; organic acids; steroidal saponins: abamagenin, neoruscogenin, ruscugenin, sansevierigenin; beta-sitosterol; hemicellulose.
