Pteropyrum olivieri
Case : woman, 70, backache.
She has backache 10 years, which can lead to sciatica. The pains are especially in her first sacral vertebrae and feels like a load. They are worse from stress and tensions and better after manual therapy and chiropraxia. The pains are worse from stooping and vacuum cleaning and they can extend into her leg, her left calf gets cramps. She has pains in her fingers, neck and shoulders. In general she does not feel well. She feels unsure and physically not strong. She feels tense and restless. she feels easily irritated and trembling. She is treated with Lorazepam, which she wants to quit, but she is not successful in that. She feels nowhere at home.
Past history
In puberty she had a colic from a kidney stone, for which she was operated. This happened later in life again a few times. Her uterus and ovaries have been removed. Work She has worked as a Cesar therapist. She mostly worked with children and she liked that very much.
Relations
Her first relation did not go well as he had affairs with other women. She ended the relationship. At 30 she married a nice man as she thought it was time to marry. But she did not fit into marriage. He was an honest man, but intellectual. She was more an emotional dreamy type. They were every different. After 10 years she decided to divorce as he wanted more freedom. They have no children. Her third relation lasted 15 years. He was a very original, creative business man. They had a very nice home in the countryside. He went bankrupt 3 times, had many affairs with other women and drank too much alcohol. That made her decide to divorce. Mother Her mother was very creative person, singing, dancing, painting. She was nice, but egocentric, unstable, variable and had little attention for her 2 children.
Parents
She felt neglected by her mother.
She was very fond of her father and he on her. He was her anchor in life, her support and back-up. When she was 6 her mother divorced her father as she was in love with another man. She and her brother were send to an aunt and when they came back after a few weeks her father was gone. It was a shock, made her stiff.
Her mother remarried, as the 3rd wife of her husband. She felt separated from her father and brother, who lived with her father But she was very afraid of er stepfather, who also sexually abused her. Her mother was also afraid of her stepfather and sometimes slips in bed with her.
Youth
She was sent at boarding school, and that was lovely, as she was free from her stepfather. She also loved the international contacts there with much singing and music.
Mind
She is interested in spirituality and meditation. She has a very good friend with whom she can talk about these things. They are very close.
She has an aversion to take regular medicines. She feels often like a stranger ion this world, as if she is not grounded., as if she is different. As a child she was very happy, she could entertain the whole group. This till her parents divorced.
Fear: disease, of herself and friends; mosquitoes.
Fear: sexual assaults. She has experience regularly sexual assaults, for instance in the train a man out his hand on her leg.

Aversion: meat, bacon, fat.
Food: she always needs to have something with her to eat to prevent hypoglycaemia.
Plants: likes them very much, they make her happy. Animals: likes them, especially cats, dogs, chicken.

Essence: She as a spiritual (Lanthanides), refined woman was in shock (Phase 4) when she suddenly lost (Stage 15) her father that she was very close to (Phase 4) and was left with her mother who neglected (Phase 6) her and her stepfather who sexually abused (Phase 6) her which repeated itself in relationships (Silicium series).
Follow up
After 6 weeks She feels more relaxed and peaceful. Her life is changing into a good direction. She can let things go and is less stressed and tense. Her mood is better and she has more energy. she is less anxious and less easily disturbed. She does not loose her energy in stories of others. She is more cheerful and easy going. She can walk much better and enjoys that again. She has much less pain in her fingers, neck and shoulders. Her Quality of life went from 20 to 50.
Half a year later she is doing fine. Her backache is as good as gone. She feels better in general. She repeats the Pteropyrum olivieri from time when she feels she needs it and every time it does well.
Saxifraga granulata and Nelumbo nucifera had only a little effect. Fallopia aubertii had no effect. Emex spinosa helped quite good for a while, but then she had a relapse with no effect anymore. Emex spinosa is also a member of Rumexoideae.
Later Natrium carbonicum was a good remedy: alone without a father.
