Botany
Moss; rare; 3 mm tall; spreads vegetatively by means of spherical underground tubers as well as via narrow, thread-like gemmae.
Capsule: unusual gametophyte features; unusual sporophyte morphology.
Spores: ± 15 µm long, shed one at a time.
