Woman, 40, sleepless.
She has backache, headache, loss of the fingernail of her forefinger, diagnosed as psoriasis. She is completely exhausted from doing things as others want to become accepted.
She has the feeling she is on the wrong track with her life. She leads an accounts department in a bank and is very much under stress. Every year from November till April she is working seven days a week. There is an option to rise up in the higher management but she does not know if this is the right direction of her life. Inside she feels that there should be a change in life but she cannot admit it. Her mother had died quite early of leukaemia, she was a yielding woman, working day and night working woman. Her mother never had a rest because her father was very ambitious.
She has separated from her partner some years ago and lives now together with her father in one house, what she had bought for both of them. She always treated her father in a very considerate manner. In the first year of her life she grew up with her grandmother.
Her father was strict, she could never be herself, she had to be good, she was forced and used and only had to function. Everybody could have everything from her. In her work she is notorious for being tough but as a partner, she would prefer a man who tells her what to do. She says it is not possible for her to have free time, she always has to work. She knows that her grandmother has been given away by her mother and also her mother was mistreated by her grandmother.

Phase 3: not allowed to be who she is; loyalty conflict; pleasing.
Subphase 2: adapt in order to be accepted, forced into things, a partner who tells her what to do.
Stage 8: working all the time.
Follow up
After Passiflora edulis MK her sleep is much better, her nervousness gone and her finger is healing.
She has had a long conversation with her father, she wants to sell the house and he is accepting this now. She always satisfied his wishes, this he understands now. She does what she wants and wondering why that was so difficult before. She does not like to adapt anymore, she always has done what others expected of her. She is much more relaxed in her work.
