Woman, 50, throat infections.
She has sharp, stitching pains in her throat, worse from swallowing. She has bronchitis, a dry cough, shortness of breath in the night, gasping for air. Her mouth is dry, worse at night. She feels sick, weak, beaten down and flat and has muscle pains with it.
She has had varicose veins since her pregnancies.
She has had vertigo, better cold, lying and with open eyes, worse on the toilet, with nausea.
She has a weak self image. She did not get any confirmation from her parents. She feels she is in a black hole, cannot get out of it, feels as if she is not allowed to be happy.
She is the perfect hostess, trying to please everyone. She has the feeling that others want to shatter her, that her parents and sister want to keep her a little girl. A black side in her wants to keep her down. Her boss wants to degrade her by using her as an office boy. She almost immediately gives in when she gives her an order. She has worked hard for many years together with her sister in a caring business but she was doing the work and her sister doing the administration and earning the money. She feels tired, has no desire to do anything. She fears being clear and thus provoking a drama. She can only stand up for herself when she can create a drama. She has rage against her sister, his injustice and greed. Her father calls her sister a vulture who tries to strangle her throat. As a child she was afraid of her, never trusted her.
She feels responsible for everyone, like a caring mother.
She is often a victim as she does not say what she wants, does not oppose people.
She is similar to her father in the sense of “The show must go on”. She fears not knowing who she will be when the show stops, when her mask will fall off. She has to be the nice, amusing person, making others happy and joyous.
She wants to become big and adult. She wants to live her own, pure way.
Fear: hospitals; coma; being abused; dead people, that they suddenly will act.
Her menses have always been heavy, better from contraceptives.
She looked up to her husband, having a low self-image herself. She divorced because she felt alone because he could only make contact through sex.

Follow up
One month after Passiflora edulis MK her mood is much better. She can keep more distance from her family. She is not a victim anymore, is out of the deep, black hole. She can allow herself to be happy. She realised that she has never stood up for herself and that has indeed changed.
