Case 2.3: Narcissus
I've known Anita for ten years. In the course of time she had consulted me for rhinitides and sinusitides, later for acne and cystitides which all reacted well to Pulsatilla.
In November 1999 a 24-year-old woman was sitting in front of me, who studied and suffered from the stressful life of the adults. She was too busy. As a third year student of political science she took too many courses, because she could not make a choice. She was also a member of an education committee.
Being creative was a big part of it. In the past she had won a prize at school with an essay, she played the flute and also expressed herself in other areas in a creative sense, but she didn't have time for it anymore. Perfectionist as she was, she wanted to do everything she did right.
Her complaints were:
Bowel problems: constipation, rumbling intestines and flatulence Back problems: pain in the neck and lower back. Massage aggravated these complaints. Painful, hard breasts
Sensitive feet
Sweaty hands and feet
Treatment
Since the complaints were different from before and she had entered a new phase of life, there were - except perhaps for the irresolution (2w.) - few indications to prescribe Pulsatilla.
I went looking for another plant for this friendly, enthusiastic and perfectionist, young woman, and I soon thought of the Liliales that according to the Masi group are for:
restlessness high demands cleanliness and shamelessness
Anita is always busy, wants to do everything very well and has finished her high school quickly and with good grades. She has her own inner (high) standards to which her performance must meet. She is not shameless, but has a kind of innocent openness that comes across as very fresh.
Lilies work in the pelvic area and the acra (and the heart). In Anita's case the intestinal and lower back complaints (and formerly the cystitis) are located in the pelvic area. Hands and foot complaints are problems of the acra, as well as the rhinitis that she had in her youth. Body ends or acra are weaknesses of the Lilacs.
In addition, it seems that Anita is being lived: she is totally absorbed in the study and does not get involved in expressing her creative talents anymore. She does not live in accordance with her own tone and vibration. I can imagine that this girl in her puberty is insufficiently individualized. Reason enough to choose the daffodil from the resources available to us, from the family of the Lilacs.
After Narcissus pseudonarcissus 200K the situation improved considerably and she looked cheerfully into the world again. She set priorities, and made study choices. She found her own tone or vibration again.
