Woman, 30, migraines.
Her headache feels as though it is stuck in her shoulder and neck region, and is mostly one-sided. Her head is hot and her feet are icy cold, so she has a desire to put ice on her head and a hot water bottle on her feet. With the migraine she has shooting lights in her vision, trembling eyelids and nausea. The migraine is worse from stress, worse from alcohol, worse from warm weather and sun, worse from sleeping a long, time worse before menses as and better from diversion and holidays. It comes often at the end of the week or in the weekend, when she relaxes. The migraines started when she worked in a psychiatric hospital as an activity mentor. She did not feel at ease because of the way things were said, with a lot of irritation.
In her youth she helped her parents a lot. She did not dare to stand up for herself. She is very practical.

Weather: chilly, cold hands and feet, <- inside.
Sweat: < exertion, < warmth.
Desire: sweets, spicy, sour, coffee, cheese.
Aversion: milk, warm food.
Food: < fat, < brown rice. Analysis
Lanthanides: migraine with shooting lights.
Phase 3: did not dare to stand up for herself.
Subphase 1: psychiatric hospital.
Menyanthes: migraine with icy cold feet.

Follow up
After Menyanthes trifoliata MK her headache became worse for a few days and then started ameliorating. After a month about one third remains. She has become calmer and is more able to stand up for herself.
She gets a few repetitions of the remedy and gradually is doing better. Her allergy stops. She decided to quit her job because she did not feel respected there. Her desire for coffee and cheese went diminished.
In the course of the year she gets three repetitions when the complaints return a little.
