Odysseus, Telemachus and the others come in full amour outside and take on the fight and kill a few of the family members. Then Athena intervenes and orders the relatives to stop the fight. The family members are frightened and run away. Odysseus persecutes them but Zeus throws a thunderbolt in front of Athena. Athena tells Odysseus to stop.
