Synonym: Tricondylus silaifolius.
Genus: 13 species.
Region: eastern Australia, New South Wales.
Habitat: open forest; understory shrub; sandstone soils.
Content: cyanide for the anthers, styles and stigmas.
Use: ornamental require a greenhouse.

Botany
Small, upright shrub; 1 to 2 m high; live for over 60 years; regenerate after bushfire by resprouting from the base; toxic to cattle.
Stem: glaucous smooth.
Leaves: highly pinnate, like parsley, Silaum; 35 to 50 centimetres long.
Inflorescences: to 45 cm high
Flowers: white; blooming in summer; kept indoors attract and kill flies.
