Lobaria pulmonaria

Lobaria pulmonaria
Case: a woman with K.N.O. complaints
By Mr. A. Leupen, homeopathic physician in Utrecht
The intake took place in February 1997. It concerns a 51 year old woman. Occupation: secretary (three days); one day per week studying English.
Main complaint
She suffers from pressure on the right ear, also swollen lymph nodes in the neck (also on the right). Sometimes a noise in the right ear. Heavy feeling on the nose. Low nasal run. She is hypersensitive to wind on the ears. I have it
feeling that something's growing in my head. Fear of cancer (3). As a child, ear infections are very common.
Does not want to use the medication of the K.N.O. doctor. Lent twice a year.
Other complaints
For menstruation headache above the left eye.
Regularly suffer from cystitis. Cystitis after much sex.
Sometimes dizzy with running. Honey then helps.
Food and drink.
Desires: salt, chocolate, white wine, goat cheese, young cheese.
Aversion: sweet.
Vegetarian principles: I don't eat sentient beings.
Intolerations: types of cabbage.
Thirst: on the high side (especially tea and water). Coffee: 1 th/day.
Sleep
She sleeps well in and through.
Sleeping position: former back, now left - or right side.
Dreams
Dreams about flying.
Dream: there were many people, grouped in a horseshoe shape. She danced in a tutu, nobody saw her. She went flying but crashed. She tried again and again, flew against the wind. At a certain moment she decided to fly the other way, people didn't interest her anymore.
At one point it became dark, she saw mountains and became anxious. She flew in the other direction, towards the light.
Mind
I used to be a HOME LEAVE, I was slavish. At the insistence of my husband, I took an assertiveness course. I used to have a feeling of inferiority in the field of learning. Raised as a good girl. Now studying English, wants to be able to read English books (formerly fear of English books).
Feels restless, wants to travel. Preferably on the road. Been to Vietnam.
Yoga and meditation: travelling
in myself.
Not satisfied. Standstill is decline.
Father died 3,5 years ago, her mother broke her hip and had C.V.A. She was very dependent on her husband, did not want to live after his death (mother died in the month after the intake). Theme: dependency/independence. Also a theme in her life.
Analysis:
We know the theme of the house split in Utrecht from the drug Sticta, a lichen.
Confirmatory symptoms:
- Dreams about flying (Sticta has the feeling as if she is flying)
- K.N.O. Complaints
The dream is striking: people are grouped in a horseshoe shape. Most lichens have a horseshoe shape.
Follow-up:
After a dose of Sticta, the symptoms have disappeared to this day.
