Lac asinum
English: Donkey‘s milk.
Donkeys are one of the earliest domesticated animals. In the folklore they are known for their strong sexuality, stupidity, docility, reliability and endurance. They have a great sense of self-preservation, hence they will not do anything that puts them in danger. This behavior has resulted in donkeys being called stubborn, but this is the result of misinterpretating their behaviour.
According to the Christian tradition, donkey carries a King on his back, the Messiah, the message about salvation of the humanity. The task of the donkeys is often to carry something valuable. The key essence of this remedy is: „The King can rely on me.“ However, donkey is not taken seriously – he is a work force.
