633.51.08 Iris versicolor, Case
Woman, 30, migraine.
She has pressing headache before menses, worse from stress and tension at work, light, better form yoga, bicycling, fresh air, lying, eating and better after profuse urination. With it she has nausea and shoulders high. Before menses she is sad and irritated, can destroy everything. She has diarrhoea or constipation and has the idea that she is crazy. She fears to fail. She has ovary cysts. She was sad after her miscarriage. She has a spastic colon with attacks of pain before and during stool.
Before her birth her mother thought she would be a boy. Her parents preferred a boy. Her father and sister were domineering the family, being loud. Her mother was in between them. She walked in between and no one heard her.
She is outgoing, optimistic and easy going in general. She is perfectionistic. She is a nurse but wants to stop because she feels the contact in the hospital as cold and she hates long meetings where nothing is really discussed.
As a child she had a fear to be obese, stupid, ugly. Life felt as useless. At school she was ridiculed with her mathematics, which gave her an inferiority complex. She was very angry at the teacher, would like to beat her face.
She is happily married but has had conflicts with her in-laws, they demanded too much from her. Her brothers in law denigrate women.
Fear: being seen as stupid !, obese, ugly; alone; death, cancer.
Dreams: everyone passes her without seeing her.
Desire: spicy; sweets, sour, milk.
Aversion: pepper, Brussels sprouts, coffee.
