Hypericum perforatum
Remedy code: 3-644.31.08
A young girl, nearly 18 years old, having made the appointment herself on her mother's recommendation. She has a delicate and slender physique, exudes charm, and speaks easily, appearing independent and sensible, with the innocence of a child. Her face has a coarse structure, with a very expressive and small mouth; her facial expressions mirror her thoughts and feelings. She hasn't been feeling well for some time. She has self-diagnosed herself with irritable bowel syndrome. Her abdomen is bloated, she experiences flatulence, and she's unsure of the cause. Her pants feel too tight, and she feels the tension all day long. Sometimes it seems to be triggered by gluten, milk, or fibers, sometimes yes and sometimes no, but in recent weeks, it has worsened. In the past, she also experienced discomfort, especially after eating soup. She gets some stabbing pains and feels nauseous; when it's severe, she has to stay home. Drinking tea and passing gas provide relief. She doesn't experience symptoms while playing soccer. It seems worse with coffee, she enjoys iced coffee with her friends. Her bowel movements range from diarrhea to pellets, and her flatulence is foul-smelling. She enjoys chocolate, chips, pasta, baguettes, and fruit. The base of her tongue is lightly coated white. School is enjoyable, but during exam weeks, she experiences more abdominal discomfort. As for her home life: her parents divorced, it was a bitter divorce, and she saw it coming as a child. That was seven years ago. Her menstrual cycle is normal, and not excessively painful. She plans to study medicine, like her father; the human body fascinates her, and she wants to help people; she knew it when she was 11 at an open day. Sleep isn't on a good schedule; she goes to bed too late; she still has much to do. She's never had the flu; in the past, she had lung issues; occasionally, she still has phlegm and wheezes. She also plays music and is in an orchestra; she knew which instrument she wanted to play as soon as she heard it. She often clashes with her younger brothers, arguing over trivial matters; they can be quite loud. Her mother is strict, often engaging in discussions; the children all have to contribute to household chores. After Menyanthes, there was a brief improvement, but then she started coughing again, and the intestinal problems returned during vacation; she felt nauseous, had difficulty breathing, and spent a lot of time in bed. Since then, she has experienced more discomfort in the morning and evening, with diarrhoea every morning; her abdomen is restless, and she feels ill before having a bowel movement.
Analysis
Classe 44: Rubric diarrhea after coffee mentions Hypericum, also Sage 8, Phase 3, (Sub)phases and Stage overlap with Menyanthes wich gave her relieve, but it could be better, and there's a relapse, so finding another medicine is a good option. The complaint is in the intestines, consistent with Fabales; she is independent and focused on the world outside the family, school, career, associations, and the concept of Classe 4.
Phase 3: Adjusting to the situation at home
Phase 1: Spontaneous, making choices quickly, expressive, it is almost intuitive.
Stage 8: Her life is very busy; friends, sports, music, and back and forth between parents; this is where she feels good. They have t work hard at home. A child between warring parents, a known theme of Hypericum. Prescription Hypericum perforatum C30.
Follow-up
After three weeks it's somewhat better; the bloated feeling is gone; occasional windiness remains. The stool is still soft, but no more diarrhea; she feels the urge to defecate every morning after waking up. The respiratory tract improved after 2 days. Sleep: difficult to go to bed. She hasn't had any issues with coffee. Tongue color and gloss are good, indented but vitally red. Tension resurfaced between her parents; the visits are always challenging. She already has plans for her studies, the city, and how to fill her time. Hands rest confidently on the table, close by, face without tension, with mature attention. After four months, she calls to say everything is still going well.
