665.23.14 Gentiana cruciata, Case
Woman, 50, asthma.
She has asthma with an allergy to cats, sunflowers, chrysanthemum and goldenrod. It is worse in autumn, from stress of important meetings and better when she is quiet; sitting straight with her hands on her lap. The asthma comes in attacks, expiration becomes difficult, her breathing accelerates, and she pants and feels of faint. The asthma started at 18 when she started a relationship with her to be husband. His parents did not welcome her because she was not from their region and religion. Visiting them was an issue of biding her time and continues breathing.
Her husband is domineering and controlling, but he can also be sweet and caring. She regularly has the feeling of sacrificing herself and fears he will go away. Her mother had an aversion to men after she was abused by her brother.
She has migraines when she gets too cold, with vomiting from the least motion, better lying quietly on her right side in the dark and with frequent urination and stool. After the attack she feels vacant and unsure.
She has 4 children. She has sacrificed herself for them; she did not follow her own interest in an artistic or craftsman career. She feels she is not recognised and is undervalued. She lacks vitality and lust for life. She feels that it does not matter so much if she is present or not.
She once got gall bladder colic, intense violent pain with coldness and a low temperature, a desire for warm applications and sitting with quiet breathing.
Dream: a cat sits on a staircase, a mother mouse sits with her many little children in a corner; it feels like a cat and mouse game, 2 different worlds, she is the spectator.
Weather: < storm, < wind.
Time: < 1 am; < autumn.
Desire: fruit, coffee.
Aversion: mussels, shrimps.
