Forsythia viridissima

Forsythia viridissima

A 60-year-old woman, she is an art photographer. For years, she has been struggling to keep her head above water financially. She is very creative, both in her profession and in her clothing, as well as in her work with children in education. Every time she sets out to start a new project or an idea, she gets started and then often fails to follow through. Teaching and assignments usually go as follows: she starts enthusiastically, full of good ideas, but soon there are too many tasks, little or no appreciation, and no money. She has been worried for years, which causes her stress, sleep problems, exhaustion, and frequent crying from fatigue. She regularly calls or comes by when “the need is high again.” Things are better then, she can cope emotionally again, for years without being able to pay because she has long-term debts, but she sticks to her plan to continue as an independent artist. Regarding her childhood and family, there is a history of abuse, which was not spoken about for a long time, not believed. Her complaints in recent years are exhaustion, emotional weakness, and extreme forgetfulness, which even frightens her. In previous years, she was able to set up art and creativity projects but did not receive any help. She is not assertive, but out of idealism she still made sure that creativity was present everywhere. She talks with her hands and face, using lots of gestures. She set up many projects, but no one did anything with them, and promises were not kept every time, which is ungrateful. She felt that she was becoming over stressed. “They played a game with you.” She has just moved, which requires extra energy from her. She is highly sensitive and easily overstimulated. Her poor memory and forgetfulness are getting worse, like “Where did that bag come from,” which she had put down a few minutes ago, for example. She works a lot with notes, loses everything, and can panic completely. She is afraid that something is wrong with her brain. She went to the doctor, but he dismissed it. She feels that something snapped here once (points to the vertex), and after that, she started forgetting everything. She can no longer find the words and often cries out of panic. She now feels incapable. In the past, everyone could count on her, on her attention. In photography, she does everything intuitively. She sleeps well. In her previous home, she had many hallucinations of people coming in or standing behind the curtains. That still happens sometimes, but now she dismisses it as a mirage. In her youth, she was in love, but she didn't feel good enough and didn't dare to make contact. She always kept thinking about him.

Follow-up
Already in the first week, her mind becomes less chaotic, and calmer, she no longer feels like she is losing everything. Before, she had to try very hard to remember everything, which made her very insecure. In the new house, she wants everything to be perfect, and now she can achieve that. She has always had to do everything on her own. She likes the new house because of the atmosphere in the city and the colors of the trees (a conformation of a Silver aspect). She now also accepts sadness, the death of a friend, the tears flowing. She wanted to start applying for jobs again but realized for the first time that she needed to get better first. She can still be nervous, losing her keys for example, but she no longer has any fears about it. In the years that follow, she continues to decline and is diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease.
