Mind
The idea of the Euphorbiaceae can be expressed in: Supressed emotions and anger due to loyalty and dependence of stronger people and authorities. It is as a young wolve in the herd that has to obey the leader and to suppress his own will and sexuality in order
to have food and survive.
Unloved
They often have the feeling that they are not loved or not good. There's often a history of lack of love, especially mother love.
The mother can be absent or hard, instead of loving and nurturing (breast problems). Their leaders are often so domineering and belittling that they develop the feeling that are worthless and bad.
Delusion others are hard
They feel that other people are hard to them. They are unloved, dominated, belittled. Others don't listen to them. As in the saying: "Human is a wolf to humans". And they present their attitude often in a very polite friendly way. As the man that gives some peanuts to the leper, "as a wolf in sheep's clothing".
Suppressed emotions
They have to suppress a lot of emotions and mostly their anger. They adapt to the group and howl with the wolves in the woods.
This gives them the feeling that they are even more bad.
Aggression
In contrast with the suppression there are violent oubursts, in diarrhea, vomiting, herpes zoster and emotionally. They get it on their nerves (herpes zoster), become angry. They can go to alcohol in order to forget and relieve the emotions. But their outburst are not allowed, thus leading to loyalty conflicts and the feeling of being a bad person.
Loyalty
They feel very loyal to the persons that are domanating them. They see them as stronger, knowing better. And they distrust themselves.
Dependence
The loyalty is also accentuated to their dependence. This dependendence can be justified as in the situation of a child, but can also be created by the person himself out of the feeling that he's not worth much.
Sensitive religious
They are very sensitive, often spiritually minded. Their sensitivity leads them to feel very precisely what the leaders expect them to do. Their sensitivity often has a religious aspect, a spiritual feeling of the world. In the Materia Medica we see it as "religious" and "praying".
Follow others
But by following the road of the leader they leave their own spiritual track in life. So they feel dishonest, not loyal to themselves. This following of others is botanically expressed in the fact that often their flowers are small, but as a compensation they have large pseudo flowers.
Fear own strength
They have a fear for their own strength. They cannot imagine they they are strong, good or beautiful. It feels very fast as an arrogance to think that they are good. So they let others be bigger and stronger and become dominated.
In religious groupings it is often seen as arrogance or even blasphemny to think of yourself as strong and good.
Somatising
They have the tendency to somatise their problems due to the loyalty conflict. The conflict can only be expressed physically. It's
worth noting that an extraction from the Complete (Zandvoort) hardly reveals real peculiar mind symptoms. The fear and
delusions have hardly a content, but have many modalities form physical complaints. By contrast, the dreams reveal quite much.
Situations: incest, religious sects.
A typical situation is that of incest in a child. She tells the mother, but the mother denies it out of fear for the rest of the family and the public. So the child suppresses her feelings. And she feels guilty and bad that she has to lie about it. There must be
something wrong with her. But she's to weak as a child to do something about it. And she feels loyal to her mother.
Another situation is that of religious sects. We see many of the above mentioned aspects: domination, not following their own path, sensitivity, religiosity, fear of their own strength.

Generals
Cancer pains. Euphorbiaceae contain hydroxy-diterpenes, which promote the development and growth of already existing cancer.
Symbolically the loyalty conflicts makes it difficult to determine what's good or bad for them, so their immune system cannot distinguish well between helathy cells and unhealthy cancer cells.

Phytochemistry
The plants of the family of the Euphorbiaceae have toxic effects on the skin (vesicular eruptions) and on the gastro-intestinal tract (diarrhoea, cholera). Plants like Croton tiglium have a promotor-action: they reinforce the carcinogenic effect of carcinogenic substances. The promotor-action is caused by phorbol- and ingenol-esters.
The milky juice contains caoutchouc (the main amount of the latex of the rubbertree).
