Eupatorium has the most classic form of influenza and fever of the whole family of Asteraceae: high fever with chill, shrvering, heat, dullness, sore, bruised and broken pains in muscles and bones. It's known for influenza (Clarke), measles, dengue fever, spot- ted fever, malaria, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
The most central mental concept is safety. They feel unsafe, unprotected by their parents and especially their father. Their father is absent or not making contact, not supporting them, or teasing them. They feel as a child that they have to do all on their own. But they cannot do that, it's too difficult, to strenuous for them to achieve what they want. They want to be hold, talked to, someone to help and be theie for them. They want to go home, to the safety of home.
They fear the world with its dangers. They feel they are not strong enough to resist it. The name Eupatorium means the good (=eu) father (=pater)

Physical
Fever (3): high, intermittent, remittent, relapsing, bilious, old chronic. Influenza, measles, dengue fever, spotted fever, malaria.

bones and muscles: chest, back and limbs
begin in the smell of the back, then sweat, scanty or profuse. > vomiting bile, sweating, lying on face.
Headache: sore, throbbing, heavy, violent, metal cap on head; headache: severe, splitting, as if cleaved with an axe, forehead, ver- tex.
interrally, occipital, > rising up.

Mouth: pale membranes; corners of mouth: cracks, sore. Tongue Yellow, covered with white fur.
Taste bitter. Hoarseness.
Chest: raw, hot, sore and bronchi. < inspiration, sharp pain right chest < deep inspiration, > support chest. Soreness in trachea and bronchia.
Respiration: difficult, + perspiration, + anxiety, + sleepless, « lying on left side. Cough: dry, hacking, chronic, hectic, loose, hoarse, rough. Hiccough

Urine: dark, brown, clear, scanty alternating profuse, sediment whitish clay-like. Male:
itching of the groin.
Female: itching of the mons veneries.
Back: pain intense, aching, sore, beaten, bruised, ascending, back of neck, between shoulders nape, occiput, trembling < fever, weakness in small of back.
Limbs: aching, soreness, bruised, muscles, bones, arms, wrists, calves, left glutei muscles.
Dropsy of legs, feet and ankles. Rheumatism Joints: gouty, nodosities, swelling of left great toe. Bones, pains. Fractures.

Generals
Weather: «< ice-house. < cold air, < draft. Chilly, -> being covered, > in house, < open air. Sweat:
scanty, > except headache.
Time: 7 to 9 a.m., periodically, 3e, 4e, 7e day
Desire: cold drinks (3), ice cream, acid drinks, alcohol.
<: smell or sight of food, alcohol.
Sleep: sleepiness < difficult breathing, > lying with head high. Physical: < motion, <- tight clothing, > getting on hands and knees. «< stings of reptiles.
DD: (1) Bry., Sep., Nat-m., Chel. Ars, China, Cedron: periodicity. Nyctanthes arbor-tristis: bilious fever insatiable thirst, bitter vomiting at close of chill, also constipation of children.
