Case Dioscorea villosa
Man, 56 years old.
By way of introduction; it concerns a brother and sister of 56 and 59 years old. The particularity of the family situation is that of the 10 children, only four are married and the other six have continued to live together in the parental home. Of these six, two sisters and three brothers have a joint home furnishing business. Of the above two, the sister has already stopped working for some time for health reasons, while the brother has ceased to play his part in the fancy business for some years now. The situation is to everyone's satisfaction, all the more so because they have built up a thriving business. The brother: "We have done a very good job". The sister; "Doctor, you are far too cheap. You are still far too idealistic". Both also insist on paying in black, probably to help me get some more cash.
Just like his sister was under treatment for abdominal problems with my "predecessor". Also in his case the symptoms after a Dioscorea villosa in an M and a 10M had clearly improved although they had never been away at night. Lately the symptoms had also returned to a small extent during the day.
Complaints
Since he stopped working he wakes up every night after having slept for 2 hours with a pulling pain under the navel; "as if a belt is pulled on" with occasional stabbing in the left side.
He always lies rolled up in bed but with these complaints he has to stretch his back. Every morning, after waking up, he gets a tremendous urge and has to run to the toilet. He then has a swollen, hard belly. After faeces, he generally no longer has any complaints for the rest of the day. It does happen, however, that after anger there are acute abdominal complaints. Also > farmers.
In general, he can quickly get angry, e.g. when he sees that today's youth is destroying something. But he can also get pretty excited about things from nothing. He is not nearly as neat as his sister and he doesn't really miss his job.
Generalities
Aversion: sweet
Desire: fat, spicy (e.g. sambal), salt, meat.
Day rhythm; morning temper, comes out badly. In the evening it's at its best.
Sleep.
Position; on, one of its sides dived into each other or on the back.
Dreams. About the case, for example, that the work is not going well.
About his father and mother, as if they were really there. (P died already 15 yrs. and M 20 years ago, he had a good relationship with both of them).
It is also striking that he is very busy during his sleep, is then sometimes cursing or fighting and beats in the vacuum while blowing loudly.
If he is still tired the next day because of all these nocturnal activities, he gets very excited about a short nap after lunch.
Italian; Healthy looking somewhat set man, where it is striking that he is constantly busy with his hands and doesn't want to take more time from you than is absolutely necessary. As if he prefers to leave as soon as possible.

Going very well. Also sleeping is now without problems and nocturnal fights.
To dispel my last doubts, "Doctor, this is really the right thing to do."
