664.34.17 Cyclamen purpurascens, Case
Case by Alex Leupen.
Woman, 32, nausea and vomiting in her pregnancy.
This is her fourth pregnancy; she chose an abortion for the first pregnancy since prenatal screening showed that the child had a spina bifida. She still feels guilty about this abortion. Her second and third pregnancies were very problematic for her: she had to be hospitalised due to her nausea. She is looking for help because she does not want to have to go to the hospital again and leave her children.
