Cistus canadensis (Helianthemum canadense, Rock-rose, Ice-plant. Most members of this family grow on rocks; therefore several names are similar).
Paralysed from anger
The most characteristic symptom of Cistus is: Feels as if paralyzed after vexation.

It is a very cold remedy; patients do not get warm in a heated room, inspiration of air give coldness and pain in nose, fauces, throat and lungs. But in asthma the want cold air, doors and windows open. Eructations may feel cold. It is a very scrophulous remedy with swelling of lymph nodes anywhere, inflammation of the vessels and cancer and ulceration of both. Cancerous remedy.
Desire for acid food and fruits. Desire for cheese, for pungent things. Skin of hands hard, thick, dry, fissured, deep cracks (hands, feet, canthi). Eruptions with cracks about and in the ear; after suppressed eruptions. Itching of swollen hands and arms, general itching which prevents sleep. Itching, crawling all over without eruptions. Small, painful pimples, lupus. Glands inflamed and indurated. Very restless at night. Cannot sleep from coldness in throat. Sleepless from dryness of throat. Night sweats.
