Botany
Flat or clumping mat-forming perennial plant.
Root: taproot.
Stem: many small to sprawling stems; up to 30 cm long.
Leaves: very tiny; spine-shaped, needle like; covering branches; 1 cm long; long stipules.
Flowers: tiny; woolly; filling in the spaces between the leaves.
