Content: Amino acids, urea, ergosterol, lipid, calvacin - which inhibits the growth of sarcoma; Anti-tumour compound calvatic acid.
General: Haemostatic (externally), fevers and internal heat, traumatic haemorrhages after operations, anti-bacterial against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus and Streptococcus pneumoniae; Anti-bacterial against gram positive and gram negative bacteria, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumour properties.
Nose: nosebleeds.
Throat: sore, chronic tonsillitis.
