665.71.06 Atropa belladonna, Case
Girl, 15, violence.Girl, 15, violence.
She has attacks of rage, full rage. She throws everything around the room, empties the ash trays on her parents bed, slams the doors, weeps, screams and beats. She feels that the whole world can go to pieces. She has the feeling that everyone is doing things wrong, except her. The attacks are provoked when her brother irritates her, when she is blamed, when her brother does something wrong, when she has to clean her room, when she is denied a pack of cigarettes, when things do not succeed. It’s worse when she is pushed, when her brother is favoured. Her father is quite similar, he also feels misunderstood.
Her legs get inflamed when she shaves them. Her has lost weight. She has a dry mouth and has difficulties swallowing. A few times she had vertigo; feeling unsure, worse while walking and better when sitting.
In the past she has had accidents, she got something in her eye, glass in her eyebrows and a knife in her knee.
In primary school she was bullied because she was so big. At seven she even wished she was dead. In high school she got even more nasty remarks; she was excluded because she was wearing the wrong clothes and because she was smoking marijuana and she was called rubbish. Her father was also bullied at school. Her younger brother is even bigger and broader than she is and in a case of a problem like a fight, she will go to him before going to her parents. Her parents tried to do their best, but that makes it even worse.
She tries to do her best, feels very responsible. She is unsure about her body, the hair on her legs, or having a white body. She has tattoos on her wrist and ankle and a piercing through her tongue. She is more cheerful when others are cheerful. She has an aversion to sports because she is out of shape and smoking marijuana. She has a fear of snakes and sharks. She has a fear of water; worse when she is showering, then she has the delusion that someone is standing in front of her nose with a knife. She has a fear of being under water; at sea she feels panic.
She once was pursued by a dog, looking like a wolf. It was a big trauma and since then she panics with everything that runs or flies, especially dogs and insects. When she sees a dog she goes four streets around them. She tells herself not to show her fear. She has a fear of horses, but likes elephants. In the dark she imagines all kinds of things; she sees lizards, or someone attacking her with a knife. When she goes to bed all the lights have to be on and she sings. She cannot stand action movies and thrillers; she can have the idea that there is really someone in front of her with a knife and is killed with a pillow in front of her eyes.

The theme of being threatened and killed is typical for a Solanaceae. The choice has been made for Belladonna because the threat is coming from people. In Stramonium we see the threat coming more from animals.
