666.47.15 Artemisia abrotanum, Case
Woman, 50, psychosis.
She has a fear that people will die and it will be her fault. She cannot trust people and thinks they will take bombs in aeroplanes. In the beginning she could only sit in a room and smoke. She was afraid to go into the streets, to do things and to meet people. It started after she was threatened with a gun and raped. It was aggravated later when she was suspected of theft at work.
She once had an abortion because her boyfriend did not want to have a child. It did not feel well at all in her head. As little child she almost drowned. Her appendix was removed.
Her mother was overprotecting and anxious. She had survived to the concentration camps. In primary school she was bullied quite often, scolded at and pursued.
She feels the pressure in her head as if she is caught in herself. She is suspicious especially with strangers. She likes to travel and to do handwork.
Dream: people dying, or mother.
Dream: panic, not knowing where she is.
Female: menses copious, clots, abdominal pain, sad.
Weather: < heat.
Time: < 7 am.
Desire: sweet, chocolate, ice.
Aversion: meat.
Food: < meat.
Sleep: difficult.
Analysis
Subphase 7: psychosis; cannot trust people; raped, threat of a gun; theft; concentration camps; bullied, scolded and pursued at school.
Follow up
After Abrotanum MK she started doing better. Her mood is improving and she is more stable. She has fewer fears and has the idea of having a future again.
After a few repetitions of the Abrotanum she feels clearer in her head, instead of having a fog before her eyes. Her anxieties are less and she is more independent. She is less psychotic and is diminishing her antipsychotics and anxiety remedies. She thinks about leaving the home she is living in and going to her own house.
