Woman, 30, palpitations.
She has palpitations, a fast pulse, feels hurried and feels her heart beating through her whole body on waking early in the morning. She is very tired. She feels a cramp in her chest; her throat feels constricted which is worse from fright and being startled.
She fears that she cannot control herself or her body, that medication will make things worse. She fears doing things wrong.
In the past she studied medicine, was almost done, but did not finish her study because of severe menstrual disorders. She is married and has a job. She wants to be useful and to be independent. She wants to be able to take care of herself. Her mother always told her that it is important for women to be independent.
Analysis

Follow up
After Apocynum cannabinum MK her fears and palpitations diminish gradually over 3 months. She is more peaceful and the panic is gone. As a reaction to Apocynum she was ill for a few days with nausea and was withdrawn.
