Remedy code: 3-665.25.06
A 54-year-old woman was previously treated for fibromyalgia. Her cholesterol is high, she has mild diabetes without medication, and Hashimoto's disease; she uses Euthyrox. The symptoms have significantly reduced after the medication Ornithogalum. She still uses paroxetine but can halve the dose. She feels better now, with less pain but is still tired. Sleeps with melatonin. After activities like a walk, she feels tired, and cold in her abdomen. Dreams about arguments. There has been a lot of anger, and issues with her family.
It was a hectic time, having to move her mother quickly (due to mental illness). Her husband has problems at work, possibly facing dismissal, he is also often sick, and there are many worries about the children; there was a painful relationship problem, and life has been turned upside down. They also moved themselves. After that she had a fever for a few days, and since then, the hot flashes have returned. When she visits her mother, it flares up. Her mother complains a lot. She has to make sure she doesn't get angry with her, it raises questions, 'What should I do with this.' She is very aware of how she comes across. They have no time for themselves at all, the care for her mother has been hanging over her for years, and the care for her children was also a long-standing theme, causing tension. She has started painting classes, still somewhat searching for what she wants. Now she wants to do things she hasn't been able to do for years; she wants to enjoy life; there were always problems and worries. In the past, she was always interested in the paranormal, but no more than exploring, and probing. Not knowing what to do with it, but always having the urge to search further. This caused problems with her family due to her interests; she was always sensitive to the atmosphere, people, and energy. She had shut herself off for years due to the pain of fibromyalgia, which caused problems in her relationship. She has now started dressing strikingly and challengingly: showing herself, she want to be attractive. She now does a lot with her hair, color, and volume; previously, she was modest and 'gray.' Fagus and Eriodictyon do not react.

Analysis
Gold series: fibromyalgia, Hashimoto's, self-development, searching for her own life, autonomy, independence, alone. Searching for meaning: the intention remains important, but the emphasis is more on 'what do I want,' on her development.
Silver series: strongly present in appearance, appreciation, charm, sensitivity to atmosphere, and impressions. This already brings us to Gold series5. Confirming this is that she looks up to the left a lot while talking, searching for answers, and then goes inward as if she wants to check, seeking reference. Often visible and confirming in a Lamiidae indication. Mother bond is known from the Asclepiadaceae, so search within Gold series65.20. Are there confirmations for Phase 2, are there indications for another Phase?
Phase 2: this time is new in terms of living and family, financially uncertain, and hectic. Uncertainty, probing, questioning.
Phase 5: Busyness, tension in the body, wanting something different, wanting more, enjoyment as a theme. Self-development and interests, hobby: here we see Phase 2 and Subphase 5. Want to develop herself (Gold series). The emphasis was more on philosophy, thinking about it (Silver series), and now she is painting.
Rauvolfieae: problems with mother, unfulfilled. Marriage is important, sensual, seductive, competitive, desire for joy. In her experience, in the care for her mother, is as if she herself is the mother, and she doesn't understand it.
Care: 'I don't understand it,' 'I have to hold back, not get angry' Compared with Magnesium salts, getting angry and expressing tension is again fitting with Phase 5. She is unsure about what and how and keeps questioning everything, a Phase 2 aspect. This is more the situation, her basic attitude, the intention, but on top of that is the need to do something and the tension of the situation that fits with Phase 5.
Problems with family regarding the 'atmosphere,' the 'culture' within the family, as a theme - the sensitivity and the burden - Silver series. Father has passed away, phase 6 or 2, mother is demanding Phase 5.
The basic feeling is fitting with the phase, as it were, the undertone. The layer on top of that, dealing with it or reacting to the basis, is the Subphase. This can also be the outside world, the circumstances that influence this feeling, this tendency. Or the tension it causes. The most clearly visible, the action, the conscious action is the Stage. The action is tackling, taking on the challenge, and being aware of criticism and performance of stage 6.
Stage 6: control, being uncertain but tackling it, throwing herself into it. Prescription Alstonia scholaris C30.

Follow up
After three weeks: things are going quite well, now no more pain at all, the hot flashes have reduced, no longer multiple times a day dripping wet but only once every two days now, only during moments of tension. She had a severe headache, which she often has. Uncertainty remains about living and finances. Despite that, it has become calmer inside. There are still slight hay fever complaints.
She no longer suffers from the very hot days now. Dream: she walked into the city, didn't know the way but eventually found it, everyone was there. The feeling in the dream was 'calm.' She talks in her sleep. Pain and hot flashes disappear after two months. She continues to feel better, and it goes well for her for years.
